We have the Paderno spiralizer. We mostly just make zoodles with it. However, when we had a party we used one of the other blades to make cucumber and carrot ribbons for salads. It made a very pretty addition to the salad. Since we are eating low carb we use it about once a week to make zoodles. So even though it mainly has one use, I feel like I am getting my monies worth.

Yes. I've used it for potatoes, sweet potatoes, zucchini and carrots. It's kind of a bitch to use and the ribbons are short so it's probably easier to julienne your veggies.

I have one and I love it! So far I pretty much only use it for zoodles, but that is completely worth it to me because we have a hard time getting plenty of veggies in our diet. Ours also makes flat super thin ribbons too and DS will eat almost anything in that shape lol.
Does anyone have any tips on how to cook the zoodles. We have been boiling them, but getting them drained is a pain. We usually end up with a plate full of water under the zoodles and sauce.

Drain in a colander, then pat dry with several towels. Zucchini holds onto moisture like crazy, so you have to coax it out.

I just throw them in a frying pan with a little evoo and toss it around a bit while they cook
