I think I'm going to try and convince someone at work to go find PSL with me today. It sucks, but the closest Starbucks is a 10 minutes tube ride from work.
ETA: The PSL quest is proving to be more difficult than I thought. No one has it, not even with the early "unlock" code, no one knows when it's coming. I called corporate and they said they weren't even sure it's coming back. Fuuuuuurk. I'm just buying pumpkin syrup and calling it a day.
up early for meetings with my European counterparts... yay. on a positive note: traffic was amazing at 6am! was hoping to leave at 3 for gym time but just had a 4:15-4:45 meeting scheduled so it will be a late night!

Good morning! Tman is sick, so I'm working at home today. I really hope he feels better before school starts. I think he will. It took me 2 hours to get home from Seattle yesterday, so I'm glad to not have to fight traffic today.
@uwhuskygirl. So the girl that I know who got one yesterday, seriously said that she read online somewhere that they came out 8/25. Another girl posted on her thread that said "the one at my house said 9/2" looks like she's in the Seattle area. I'm sure that it takes a little extra time to get to you. But I think it's really coming very soon.
Today is just a regular day. I feel like I should go on a short run tonight(1-2miles), but I don't want to over do it. Can someone speak to this? So far this week I've run 3 miles on Monday, 3 on Wednesday. I plan on doing 3 on Friday. Our group run is on Sunday and we are running 4. Then Monday we are doing the Seahawks 5k.
This weekend we have way too much planned that I kind of just want to pretend to be sick and stay home and watch OITNB again.

Bkb and I are headed to the dentist and then the Evergreen state fair. I'm hoping she finally lets the dentist clean her teeth. I'm trying to convince her by telling her it's the same special tooth paste the Disney princesses use.
I'm off today. Its 8am and my kitchen is clean. Why don't I do this more often?
I'm planning on hitting the gym this morning, then putting a few more tweaks on the video for the funeral. This afternoon is the follow up with the foot doc to discuss surgery and whatnot. Trying not to be nervous.
I need to find a place to watch the hawks and cougs tonight too. Stupid Comcast can't get out to set up our cable till next week.

***job vibes*** niq! karebear219 - the Disney princess trick is adorable, and I hope it works!
Happy Blue Thursday! I'm rocking my new Sherman shirt (the one with Here's a Tip, Don't Test the Best from RS's website) and some purple and gold... cause GO DAWGS! I'm having my 2nd Fantasy Draft tonight, at a Husky bar, so it should be fun!
AND..........drumroll........... I got an email that I have been selected as one of the three people for interviews for the job I've mentioned! BUT I got the email when I was unavailable during work hours, so I couldn't respond and confirm times until after the work day. So, I'm hoping I get the time/date I want in about a couple of weeks, and that I hear back today
I'm annoyed. I was planning on working in Bellevue all day. I got a text message as I was leaving from my manager that she forgot to tell me there is no clinic this am, but could I come in to seattle for a meeting. It took me an hour to get there for a 20 minute meeting and traffic still sucks. I also had to pay to park, and will have to pay in Bellevue. This meeting cost me money to go to >:/
Getting coffee now and will get laundry done this morning at least.
I can't wait for this long weekend. I feel better having talking to M today about my parent's visit. I was so worried about them not being physically there to keep an eye on him but he did promise to go to two NA meetings a week and to call every day.
So I can finally share our GOOD new for my family. H was offer, and accepted a job here in Kitsap county!!! It's 30 minutes from our house going against traffic and in the same town where I work. In 10 years together we have never worked in the same community and he has never had less than an hour long commute. He's currently commuting 90 minutes each way and is dependent on the ferry system which, this summer, has been a disaster. This is going to change our lives. For a long time it felt like we were living in two different worlds, and we were! Now we are going to spend SO MUCH more time together. Two hours a day! 10 hours a week. 40 hours a month! More family time. More fun time. More HIM time. I'm so happy for him. This company is fantastic too. Great benefits and atmosphere. He liked his current company too but we couldn't pass on an opportunity for him to say goodbye to that commute.

Good luck @maddawg228 and congrats!!
That is so wonderful! That makes me so happy for you guys!!!
As another 90+ minute/each way commuter (though, not by ferry), it can leave me in the worst of moods at the end of the day, and my poor H suffers and our 7pm - 10pm time together isn't awesome. From what I've read from past posts, I think your H and I share a few personality traits, and your news makes me really, really, REALLY happy for you guys!

Yes I remember you being in the same boat! I hope this new job prospect works out and has a shorter commute.
It just boggles my mind that I can text him and be like. Let's meet at central market for lunch. See you in 5. It literally makes me giddy with excitement.
I almost immediately wanted to get pregnant. Lol. For a long time I did not know how I could handle two kids, two daycare drop offs, two schedules, and of course my own demanding job. But now we have a second car and car seat and both of is can share the load!
@aellasbeth yes, you may. People often use showers though as an excuse to go off registry so don't be too surprised. Also, its definitely more of a last minute shopping event more so than the wedding
I had PT this morning and my neck was doing better enough that this time they could actually discern muscle. Monday it was still so swollen that all the tissue felt the same. However, my neck is kind of killing me as a result of the gentle massage and stretches. Apparently the left side is so tight that what feels like my head is "straight" when I'm lying down is completely crooked and pulled off so I bet that's contributing to my dizziness. Trying to muster up the energy now to call insurance and see what steps I need to follow through for the rental car as I'm ready to be driving again and frustrated to have to rely on H to pick up something at the store or take me to the pharmacy.
