Currently, I am sitting at work, troubleshooting/answering questions that my temp has. (i.e. taking up space and wandering around the internet.) I have an appointment this afternoon, to see where we are at/talk induction date/etc. I am still feeling pretty good, though a little bored at the moment.
SO...tell me what's going on with you this morning!!

Happy due date!
I have another appointment today, 40+5, now I've also forgotten that I'm overdue, and almost just want her to wait till after the holiday weekend. (Sorry I complain about this everyday)
My sister gets home from a month in India today, so excited to see her! Unfortunetly she is only home for a few days before going back to school and it looks like she won't be able to meet her niece.
I have meetings set for the week that I'm due. I responded yes but already told one of the guys I won't be there. Even if I don't have the babies I plan to stop working that Friday before.
I'm bored so working on my thank you cards at work. It's been raining almost everyday the last few days and supposed to rain today and tomorrow. I'm actually glad because the rain seems to make me sleep harder so for once I'm not dragging ass at work.

No induction scheduled yet. The practice I go to waits till 10 days overdue to induce which would be Tuesday. Hoping to get them to schedule it today for Tuesday, since my next appt wouldn't be till Tuesday with the holiday weekend.
DS goes back to school on Wednesday after his summer holidays so I took him for a haircut today. We also got his school shoes and socks (they wear uniforms here) and got him 2 casual trousers and myself 2 nursing tops. We then went for lunch and now I am home and completely exhausted and really sore. It's a good thing I am so close to the end now because I had so many people comment on me being near the end/ready to pop/looked exhausted, etc.
When I got him there was a delivery guy busy delivering a parcel for DH. I know its a baby gift from his company. It's a Pacapod diaper bag. I want to open it up and see which Pacapod it is, and I know DH would not mind at all, but part of me tells me to wait and let him do it. So much of this baby has been about me, I should leave something for him. Right?

Fingers crossed for you,, gerberdaisy! I hope it works out!
blushing - as tough as it is, I would wait for your H, for exactly the reason you listed. Good luck, and put it on a different floor/in a room you won't go into, so the temptation isn't staring you in the face!
I'm totally unfocused at work and making lists of the next things we need to do like empty the crap out of the nursery, clean the carpets in there, paint, make a list of baby names, find a daycare.

I'm a little overwhelmed!
I totally get that! Just remember to try and take it one day at a time, and one item at a time. (And we still haven't completely agreed on a name, so there's that!)
Happy Due Date!!! I give you a lot of credit for still working.
Today I have a doctor appt with my surgeon to check my neck. I go every other month to make sure nothing is growing where my thyroid was removed. Then this afternoon I'm having the car seat installed.
6 days to go until my induction. I'm starting to give up hope he will come before then. We still have plenty of time, but I've had so much false labor it's irritating.
Happy due date! I've been so spoiled by this pregnancy since I've been out of normal work since ~30 weeks with the way everything worked out with summer break (I'm a teacher.). You get major credit from me for still working until the bitter end! Hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer.
Happy due date! I had my first check this morning at my 39 week appointment and I've made absolutely no progress, so I think my dreams for a Labor Day baby may be shot. At least I've made tomorrow my last day in the office, and working from home next week will be much less annoying than dragging myself in everyday. It will be nice to have the long weekend off too.
I had Chinese for lunch and now I feel like poo. And I just remembered I have a chiropractor appt after work. Thank god because my back has been killing me.
I am glad I waited for DH to get home to open the parcel. DH is very happy with the diaper bag and declared it his one straight away, lol. I think he will share it though.

Happy Due Date!!
As for me, I'm working from home for the second day in a row. I spiked a low grade fever yesterday afternoon with this bug I have. The aches yesterday were horrible. Today is just hacking up goop and runny nose. Of course we cancelled our labor day camping plans in Door County for tomorrow-Monday and I'm so beyond sad about it. My mom, grandma, two aunts, MIL, FIL, DH, our dog were all going. Now nobody is since Door is close to us and not them (all Chicagoans). We were going to be celebrating my 30th, my grandma and one aunt's 85th, and the other aunt's 70th while up there. I feel terrible for getting sick - even though I obvs had no control over it.
