Since I started it, I'll go. One of my coworkers asked me for a FWB setup. I'm considering because he's kinda hot, but I don't think I'll actually ever do it.

I got a text from a guy I went on a date with a while ago. We had a second date scheduled about a month ago but he backed out. I didn't hear from him after that until last night. He wants to go out again... part of me wants to say yes, but my first thought was that he probably cancelled on me because he met someone else and now he's contacting me again because it didn't work out... I don't want to be someone's second choice. (This is complete speculation on my part.)

He texted and called me last night but I didn't see either until this morning. It's not like I have a full social calendar so I'm not sure that my speculation is a good enough reason to turn him down. I could be totally wrong. But it's certainly dampened my interest.

So I'm not sure if my confession is that in considering accepting, or if it's that I am thinking of declining because of a scenario I've created in my head...
devils advocate, what if he went out of town for work, or got caught up in something and just got carried away with life. Then he sat back and thought damn. Starries was a pretty cool woman. I should contact her again.
Says the person that has done this to many times. I have friends I think about but get caught up in work and exhaustion and forget to keep in touch as often.
Do you have a JCpenny near you? I bought some purple ones there for super cheap. When I lived a loft I needed 8 panels that had blackout ability. They were really great quality and pretty cheap too. I just did a quick search and they have quite a few that are cheaper than the overstock ones.
tiramisu, I am a huge fan of NSA sex, but the coworker piece makes me nervous. There is a good chance this doesn't end well.
starrieskies, there is virtually no way that you saying yes will lead to an equal partnership. If that's not what you're looking for, then do what makes you feel good, but know that this is not likely to end in a healthy relationship.
My confession is that I slipped something in a post last week just to see if people were paying attention and no one was. It made me feel sad. Serves me right.

I've been slammed at work so haven't been reading everything. Don't be sad.

I'm eating gummy peach rings for lunch.
My hand still hurts and I'm ready to just be done with it. It is so annoying. It will feel totally fine for a while and then all the sudden it becomes useless. I had to have my aunt cut up my chicken last jnight at dinner because it hurt too bad. (This is more of a random than a confession.)
So I am helping a friend of a friend navigate some health insurance stuff. She is married (or so I thought) with a small child. She just confessed to me that legally she is not married. They had a big old wedding last year, received tons of gifts and what not but they are not legally married because her pseudo husband just doesn't want to be. Ummmmmm huh???
