You're nuts...calm down!
In all seriousness, I feel for you...I had an 8 week ultrasound and not waiting for the 12 week and I still want to be looking in there every day. Waiting is awful, but I would try and stick it out. You're pregnant, you really are!
I think it is normal to feel this way, but I don't think you should demand an US. Both of my pregnancies I felt like I was waiting for something to go wrong, especially before I could feel them move.
Have you heard the hb on a Doppler yet? I can't remember when that starts. Anyway, at my OB's practice, they'd let you come in for a quick Doppler check between appt.s if you were feeling nervous/worried. I think it's pretty common for pregnant women to get nervous between appointments. Maybe you can ask if the nurses do that at your practice?
Some people don't have problems. 2 pregnancies, no morning sickness at all. Only time I threw up was with 1st child, we flew through bad weather and I had JUST eaten the in-flight meal. My only issues were being exhausted as soon as I got pregnant and my ankles would swell because it was extremely hot and humid here both times.

I haven't.
Now I know what those ladies on the bump feel like when they were all buying dopplers for home use, lol.
I'm about 10.5 weeks pregnant, and have had one ob appt so far. No U/S yet, but have the NT scan next Friday.
I haven't had any cramping or bleeding or any other reason to suspect something is wrong. I'm not sick, but do get exhausted easily and feel a little nauseated first thing in the morning.
I just have a bad feeling about this. Like, I'm too lucky or something and I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm just really tempted to call my ob and ask for an U/S. Would you call or just wait the week?
you're nuts. calm down.
however, it's completely normal to be nuts at this stage. hell, if i don't feel 'enough' movement every day i start getting nuts.
wait for the u/s. not everyone gets morning sickness in early pregnancy - i didn't with either baby.

too early for a hb via doppler - my ob won't even try until well after the 12 wk appointment.
plus it can be difficult to find the hb initially (and is often confused for the mother's hb) so it can be more worrisome than helpful.

Not nuts, but calm down. I felt this way until after my A/S. I had little morning sickness and a previous loss. I did get an early U/S because of the loss, but still wouldn't allow myself to accept the pregnancy-- I would do all the things I was supposed to do (vitamins, no alcohol, etc.), but didn't commit to names or buy baby stuff or anything like that. I think it is normal to have days where you don't feel pregnant and to convince yourself that something has happened. You just have to wait it out until things develop further-- everything's probably fine.
