Compression shorts or capris. I find them much more comfortable for running and tennis than my saddlebags and spare tire jiggling around with every move.
Body Glide is fine for certain distances for me, and certain body parts, but eventually it wears off, and I think it's kind of messy and a pain anyway. I prefer clothes that inherently solve the problem for me.
I chafe on my inner thighs. I swear by these shorts as a solution:
From what I understand they have the shorter version in stores (the Pulse 2-in-1 Shortie), but the longer version (that I like) is only online.
Regular compression shorts would also do the job just fine, I just think these are a little cuter. Running skirts with compression shorts under them can be good too, but the shorts need to be long enough and not ride up.
Longer shorts for me, too. I had two pairs and finally realized one was like 1/2" shorter than the other was all, but man did it make a difference. I try to find longer pairs to run in now.

Thanks for posting this! I'm buying these when I re-enter the world! LOL

Thank you! The deodorant worked immediately. The problem is not so much with the actual 3+miles. I don't mind wearing athletic gear for that, but I also walk a lot outside of that to get to places, and that on top of the 3+ miles, is keeping me from wearing dresses because it is uncomfortable. I have some of those skimmies, but it is too hot to wear them under a dress here.
I will try the glide too. Seriously, thank you, this is one of those things I don't like to talk about IRL.

Just a heads up, I need a full size smaller in these than what I'd call my "normal" shorts size. Total vanity sizing going on.
