Where to find clearance yarn?

Do you know anyplace good?  I'm trying to veer away from using so much acrylic but there are a few colors I want for my work in progress but just don't want to spend a lot.

I go slow and steady and use coupons at Joann and Hobby Lobby.

I also have ordered from ebay.

Knitpicks is my go to if I don't want to spend a lot. Their prices are good to begin with and they frequently run sales.

If you're really looking for a home for it you might want to check with your local Project Linus chapter.  They have a strict no animal finer rule for their blankets because of allergy issues so they can pretty much always put acrylic to good use.

It really doesn't matter. Variance in texture and brand just make each flower more unique.

Not sure how close you are. I've put over a dozen colors I to a bag, most over 3 yards long. Does that get you where you want to be? I can do dozens more

I'm using acrylic for this project. I raided a friend's stash and egreiger is sending me some so I think I'm in good shape but thanks so much.

We should start a crafting materials exchange. I'm sure we all have some stuff in our stashes that could get some use.

Thanks for the tip!  I started following a few days ago, and the daily deals are pretty good.  I'm trying to stay away from new yarn right now, but I love window shopping!
