I just like your consistency. News made it sound like Case had a rough night so he may be closer to going back to UofH
The Texans are so terrible. I have high hopes for the Skins the first game.
I would be thrilled for Case to return to UH as a coach.
I don't. I didn't see the 3rd preseason game, but I guess the offense looked absolutely awful. I'm hoping they'll go old school and just run the shit out of Morris, but Clowney and Watt have me very concerned about Robert. (I was at the playoff game, in the end zone, 10 rows from the field, so I had a clear view of him crumbling to the ground, it was awful and now makes me tense up everytime he starts to scramble!)
Lol at comparing Manziel to Tebow. Tebow was totally a media thing. He wasn't an asshole, but everyone knew he wouldn't succeed in the NFL (except for him), and the media kept trying to make.it.happen. (and of course he played for Florida, which takes a loooong time to forgive. lol)
Manziel is just an immature little twit of a DB. Still. And he should be able to handle the spotlight by now. It's been on him long enough.
A&M fans everywhere should be saying "Johnny who?" today and that is a very very good thing.
I disagree with this (I don't know why I care so much!) But Manziel is totally a media thing too. Just look at the draft. EVERY time Manziel was not picked, they showed him. Then, when he was finally picked, he was the ONLY player that they followed around with a camera to the back room (or whatever it was) to get the reaction back there, etc. and then kept the spot light on him even after the next player had been picked. Freaking Clowney, the #1 pick got a tenth of the coverage. That's all ESPN and similar to what they did/do with Tebow (who I think has *finally* given up - thank goodness). They also did the same thing with RGIII - he was given 100x more media attention than Luck (partially due to what the Redskins game up in draft picks to get him). It's gotten a little better with his injury and lackluster second season, but he couldn't do anything (like register for wedding gifts) without ESPN all over it and then the inevitable backlash.
But I have a feeling we'll never agree on this !
I will say once he starts playing for Cleveland (which will happen because Hoyer is terrible), he's got to get a thicker skin because EVERYONE is going to jawing at him. Everyone.

Tebow was kinda an asshole, especially with the whole big dramatic side-line praying shit in Denver.
And taking credit for winning games when it was ALL the kicker half the time, or the defense the rest of the time.
And the whole anti-abortion Superbowl ad.
Thank you for articulating what I could not do (so I didn't even try).
And seriously, Matt Prater should have/had more attention on him - he was kicking like 55/60 yard field goals for those wins (and the defense was keeping the games within a TD/FG to allow the Broncos to stay in the game).
I am a huge SC fan and have been since I was a baby. My grandparents, parents, siblings and myself all went there and have always pulled for the football team. Guys, we have always pulled for a team that NEVER won! I mean, it was really pathetic. Spurrier has come in and helped us believe. He is a phenomenal coach.
I just needed to add my emotional 2 cents to the Spurrier talk
I'm a Redskins fan. Spurrier can suck it!
but I'm happy for you that he's doing something for your team. He was just a terrible NFL coach

My H loves Spurrier. Has been a fan for years. But we're Aggies first and foremost.

I thought we were talking about college football?
Anyhow, as much as I dislike Tebow, he is nothing like Manziel. He didn't participate in unsportsmanlike conduct. Manziel's picture is next to the phrase in the dictionary. And I'm not sure how praying is assholish? If he needs extra help to get through a game, so be it. He clearly needed it.
As for the anti-abortion ad, I guess I just don't give him enough credit to have the brains to think that one through.

Ew. Spurrier is so dirty. That's all I have to say.
No it's not. Your guy is going to have to get around Gurley if he wants a heisman.
