Height for custom bookshelf?

I'm having a custom bookshelf made for a corner on our living room. It's the wall to the left of the sofa, near the back door.

I'm trying to decide on the height. I was thinking 7 ft, so it would stop at the same place the arch begins to curve. This also makes it a foot shorter than the window height on the perpendicular wall.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? Lower? Or does that seem like a good height?
