I have an interview on Tuesday. I haven't interviewed in person for anything outside of my current place of employment in 8 years, and my current work environment is very casual, so my nice work clothes are wrap dresses, and I don't think that would work for am interview.
I am 4 months post partum, so my basic pieces that I have don't necessarily fit the way they used to, or at all.
Does it matter if I wear pants or a skirt? What shoes do I wear? Jewelry? I was planning on just wearing my wedding ring and calling it good.
If in doubt err on the more formal rather than casual or quirky.
Buy something that fits you as you are at the moment.. I agree with Jene regarding colours, I would go for black or navy skirt (not too short) or trousers and maybe a little more colour in the top (but not too vivid or low cut). Low heels are fine.
