Ugh. When i was a kid I kept like the first several teeth in a little treasure box thing. I think my parents forgot to take it and then I wanted to just keep keeping them? I think (hope!) I eventually threw them out.
I don't think I wanna start that trend with DD. We'll just have the tooth fairy get rid of them.
I remember mine as being bloody and gross. No thanks.
DD1 was gifted this little silver fairy box thing at birth for holding lost teeth. Significant guilt has caused me to hang onto it so far, but I don't intend to store anything in there. Maybe just use it to hold the tooth under her pillow? I'm not sure. I've got years to decide.
Yes, I probably will. I also kept their umbilical cord stumps in plastic bags in their keepsake baby boxes. If I can't let those go I'm sure I'll save teeth. ?

I have one of those. My held on to it and gave it to me later with a note telling me to store my engagement ring in it. Super sweet.
I hadn't really thought about it. I don't know, maybe the first one? Right now I am pretty pissed off at her teeth so maybe I will burn the damn things when they fall out. Good riddance, teeth demons!

Yes, I think I probably will. I remember snooping around my parents' room as a preteen and finding my baby teeth in a box on my dad's dresser, and being so touched that he had kept them...

NO.
Recently, my mom showed me a film canister full of my baby teeth. As she poured them intonher hand, I let out an "Eeeeee!" in horror and suppressed a gag.
I swear my mom isn't weird, but this was such a bizarre interaction lol.

So far my DD has only lost one tooth and I stuffed it into a box of greeting cards etc. in my closet. I'm not really planning to keep it, I just panicked after the tooth fairy retrieval and didn't want DD to somehow see it in a trash can. And until this thread, I had forgotten about it! LOL

DH and I had a little fight about this last week. I'm in camp "Ew gross no way" and he said he'll be pissed if I don't keep at least the first tooth. Yuck. We had the same fight about DS's curls from his first haircut. I am the opposite of attached to bodily parts apparently.
I keep a lot including some hair from j's first haircut, but I cannot understand what you would do with teeth or why anyone would want them.
I have a friend whose oldest son swallowed his first few baby teeth. Yeah, she dug through when it came out the other end to get it. Why? Why would anyone do that?!?!
My mom has all the teeth we've been able to find (*cough*pulled) from the dogs, so I can only assume she's saved mine too. I haven't thought about this yet...
