Bought work clothes for first time in over 2 years

So I work from home and have for the last two years or so. Obviously that means I don't need work clothes.

Since I moved I have to have my work internet and phone line moved to my new address. I'm on vacation this week but they can't come until Wednesday. The other two members of my team have Tuesday off (day after Labor Day) so someone needs to be "in". So I get to go to the office and work for one day.

I have never been to the new building my branch moved to since we were made work at home employees to save on office space, etcetera.

I'm kind of dork only excited. I had to go and buy a business casual outfit.

Oh dude I just went to Old Navy since this is a one time thing. I did need new semi-nice slacks because all I have are jeans and maxi dresses.

Haha!  I kind if thought that but didn't want to think I'm all slim shady now.  Those are a 14!  If I wore a 12 my mind would be blown.  Then again they're stretchy material so it's not like a "real" 12.

I actually think you should try sizing down in the jacket. It looks big through the shoulders and the waist.

Agreed on sizing down on the pants. You look fabulous, no need to hide your figure! Also, keep in mind they will probably stretch throughout the day, so you don't want to have a saggy butt by noontime. I would return the jacket for another top that you can wear with the pants. It's always nice to have a few options.

The blouse I LOVE but it's slightly sheer which is why I went with the jacket.

I agree...size down the pants and jacket. if the jacket isn't necessary, get yourself another top or two that you feel great in!
