I got an email today from the president of Proboards! He said that they have noticed that our board is generating a lot of traffic and that they are going to move us to a better system that should be faster than what we are on right now. Awesome! We're one of the big kids now. ;D
We are here, what two months, and we already get improvements (on an already superior site) for our loyalty?
Suck it, Nest. We are never coming back. Proboards rocks.

ETA: Also, I need to throw in some praise for the fact that the last update fixed the bug that caused the app to force close if I clicked on a YouTube embed. It's nice to be heard.

So, they just notice we are active and decide to proactively address that whereas TK/TN just ignored our requests for a better search function etc. and made random changes that jacked everything up with little to no input from users.
Can someone tell me if there is any update from the nest?

As far as I know they're not working to upgrade the boards. There was some talk of developing an app (as in what people would look for in an app for the boards).
Like any "wtf happened" moments among the nest gods?
Not that they've posted. They've been pretty quiet about the whole thing.
TB hasn't been effected at all, so there was absolutely nothing over there.
Coincidentally, I looked at thenest traffic stats on that alexa website and it's pretty dismal for them. I can't believe they simply don't care. Pageviews on the boards are down over 48% for the past three months. Time spent on site is down 46%.
I don't like it when these threads turn into "WE ARE THE MASTERS OF THE INTERNET UNIVERSE." But I am really curious that the nest apparently has no plan for restoring viewership. What are their advertiser's doing.

Can I be the lone cynic and worry that these "upgrades" will cause the same crappy problems as the nest? I'm a little worried. I said it. And then I will go ruin the shit out of someone else's Pampers experience.

I'm on another forum that is technically a ProBoard. It started out that way and got really big and has been through a series of upgrades. Sometimes there are issues but they never last more than a few hours. I think the big difference is that ProBoards is actually about forums. TN is about bullshit and ad revenue.

I just got a pop up survey on the bump about how I access the internet. Maybe they're gauging interest for an app. Cuz, you know, it's not completely obvious that they need one.
