we have all hardwoods, I imagine that is part of the problem...
Yep it is. We try to stick to the bedrooms with carpet that isn't a fun ride according to dd. Dh thinks he should get the little knee pads that tile layers wear ha
Yep. The kids love it. We also have wood floors, my knees don't like it. I've taken to only doing it on a large rug or crab walking instead (like this) with them sitting on my pelvis. It is way easier on my joints, and the kids like it just was well. It's harder to do when they get bigger, though.

Lol no way, that would kill my knees on our hardwood floors! DH does all kinds of crazy seining and rough housing with her. So far I remain the more "calm" parent, haha dd loves me just the same

Nods likes to ride on my back, but i only let her when I'm standing. I'm sure she would love it, but I generally let her play like that with daddy. With me being at home with her all day, I just imagine her asking to do it all the time.

I don't for the reasons you mentioned. I try to avoid teaching ds fun games that are unsustainable. Dh gets to be the one to make that mistake, ha. I do let him crawl all over me and sit on me if I'm on my hands and knees or lying on my stomach ... I just don't move
