For those of you who aren't sold on the Fidelity-ness or Amex-ness of the Fidelity Amex card, or the travel-ness or annual fee (after the first year) of the Barclay Arrival Plus, this card may be a great option for everyday spending:
Damn, I just got the Arrival Card last week. I guess we will reevaluate in a year.
I think the Arrival will stay in my wallet for year two. The annual fee can supposedly be waived by talking to a supervisor, but at any rate having a card with a PIN option (essentially unheard of in the US) has come in very handy several times.

Thanks for posting this, I just got my renewal notice so I need to look into this.

Per Flyertalk, it seems that it you just call and ask, the person you talk to won't be able to do anything about it, but if you then ask for a supervisor, you may get a waiver.

I'm really trying hard to make my money work better for my husband and I. Could I use this credit card to pay for utilities? Anyone have any experience using a credit card and auto bill pay?

Depends on which utilities you're talking about and what companies you deal with. My electric bill cannot be paid with a credit card but my cell phone, regular (well, voice-over IP) and cable/internet bills are paid by credit card autopay.

Yes we put everything on our CC except mortgage and SLs

Do your utilities charge a percentage or surcharge to pay by credit card? I cannot figure out how to pay mine by credit without incurring a fee, which would basically negate the rewards.

One of mine charges a convenience fee if you use a credit card. I have resigned myself to auto debit on that one.

We can't put our water bill on a credit card for some reason but all other utilities get auto paid on CC with no problem
