J has decided to be a power ranger. I was going to do Where the Wild things Are (devotchka) but I can't find the right sizes or reasonable prices. Now I'm thinking I'll do a giraffe and a skeleton for the little guys because I have the costumes already.
A cowboy! He loves his cowboy hat and I can get him a cute outfit that he can still wear. I'm going to buy him normal boots and a flannel shirt. He'll stay warm that way too.
A train conductor! I just bought the osh gosh striped overalls at 60% off. Now I just need a white shirt and a red bandana thing for his neck. He won't ever wear a hat so I don't think I'll bother.
We did this last year. It was so cute. I got a hat and bandana off of amazon that were cheap and adorable to go with it. I had to include the second pic because it still makes me laugh so hard. He didn't want to stop to take a picture with me at all!
Hank is apparently still traumatized by the avocado costume I lovingly sewed last year (which turned out pretty darn professionally, if I do say so myself!). He constantly tells us that he doesn't want to wear it, even though we put it away after last halloween and haven't pulled it out since. I'm not convinced that he'll be into any costume this year. We were hoping to get him a Buzz Lightyear costume at Disney.

I have no idea...She loves Minnie so that's one idea. I saw Cindy Lou Who costume on Esty but it wasn't so great TrudyCampbell I may search some more for that.

Yeah, the PB one is freaking adorable but so pricey. Boo! Giraffe and skeleton sounds cute!
Well, I asked her again today and she said she will be a pumpkin. I doubt she'll change her mind, she rarely does. She said Claire will be a watermelon.
DH wants to make my kid go as Billy Idol b/c of his hair. I was like ummm, no but then we were at a county fair this weekend waiting for a kids show to start. The entertainer was making idle talk, random jokes until the show started. He said, "Look at this kid's hair. It is Billy Idol as a child, folks" referring to Peyton. Well, it is kind of funny. And it will probably be the only year we could get away with it, since he doesn't understand the whole dressing up thing yet, really. Or is it cruel and unusual, something he will look back on and be like my parents' tortured me.
