So apparently I'm going to a wedding with J Saturday. He swears he told me it was this Saturday... he didn't lol. Anyway, it's outdoor and at 6 pm. I know it isn't formal, but that's about all I know. The daytime high is 90, but it'll be in the upper 60s at night and I'm sure we'll be there a while. If the venue helps, it's at the Hardeman Sams house in Athens, GA. I'm not going to have a chance to shop til closer to the weekend, but style suggestions would be awesome. If I can get away with sleeves, that would be awesome bc I'm still pretty self conscious about the scars on my right arm.
The thought of being in a dress with sleeves when it's in the 90s make me hyperventilate! I think you're a freaking smokeshow- no need to cover anything I feel that you can never go wrong with a knee length LBD for a wedding. Classic and simple. Especially if you don't know much about it/ the people. And since everything goes with black, you can use a pair of shoes and clutch you already have at home without going crazy.
Lol me too! I haven't met any of these friends yet. I may have to hit up Sephora or something for an awesome concealer. Either way, I need help. Last wedding I went to was actually at the same place, but I was 6 months pregnant with Eli.
How long would you want the sleeves to be? Full length? 3/4? Will any part of the wedding be outdoors? Is the venue air conditioned?
3/4 length will cover most of them. The last wedding I went to was at the same venue. The ceremony and reception were both outside, but everyone was inside getting drinks/food and socializing.
These are great and I was just about to ask where they were from. I really love the first one! I like the 3/4 length sleeve and lower neck line. Higher neck lines make my boobs look even bigger, which I don't need. I'm totally okay with fitted too... the man is way into my curves and said he wants to show me off lol
