Tomorrow we depart for Disney and it will be the first vacation since my honeymoon that I am not either pregnant or nursing a child. I'm going to take my date nights very seriously.
Daniel found a Christmas max and ruby DVD. He insisted we watch it. That's fine by me, let the Christmas brainwashing begin! Of course he's now outside helping H in the garage and I'm watching it alone.
We got Owen into bed and asleep by 8:30 last night and he very wonderfully slept until 8 this morning. Hopefully he's less of a pain in the butt today.

My boys demanded a sleepover with Grandma last night so it is really quiet here this morning. I need to get off my phone and work on their toys and clothes. No motivation.
A is at a sleepover, the house is so quiet. DH let me sleep in this morning and it was glorious, especially since we were up late last night hosting a fun game night. He just surprised me with breakfast in bed, It was so sweet and out of the blue. Waffles, coffee, and fruit Etc.. Today we are going to nephews 6th birthday party, and then will do some clothing shopping for the boys.
I can't get rid of this migraine. It subsided yesterday for a couple hours, but came back. I have taken my prescription as many times as I am allowed. I just took it again and will be heading back to sleep. I really hope it goes away this time!

I went to take a shower and mh had S. V was calling for me and when I went in her room she had opened all of the drawers of her dresser and it was only being held by the wall anchors. I feel sick thinking of what would have happened if they weren't there. Now I'm wondering if they are strong enough to hold her weight if she tried climbing it.
Julian's eating breakfast, I think later I'll have DH BBQ some steaks and after he goes to work me and J will walk the waterfront with some ice cream. He loves that. In Canada everything closes on holidays. So there is NOTHING to do today, and it's incredibly dreary.

Did you definitely decide on Vivienne?
Yes, DH changed his mind on Octavia...so we revisited Serena, Elena and Vivienne...took us 3 of using the names like "did you change Serena?" "Where is Elena's blanket" but we finally thought Vivienne fit the best.

H and I decided on a baby moon the first weekend of Oct. We were going to go somewhere four hours away, but with my contractions I just don't want to do that (Eureka Springs in the Ozarks of Ark). So now we are going to a resort and spa that's only 1.5 hours away in a "hidden gem" type area of Oklahoma. It actually looks gorgeous... Has natural springs, hiking trails, and great reviews.
Why is SIL not respecting the babysitting rule? The unspoken rule is you should send text updates, a pic or two, or have the child at least call to say goodnight. She has not given us any pics or real updates (other than how crazy having three little boys in the house is) and she has had him since 1pm yesterday . Argh, how hard is it to send a damn pic or update? Ma baby!!

Not in Canada. .. just in Ontario does everything close. In alberta everything is open holiday hours. I was shocked that everything closed on a holiday in Ontario! Crazy Cakes. I'm laying in bed while the boys watch man tv. Glorious.

The mall is open here today, along with lots of other places to eat. There are also a few festivals going on. We will likely just stay home anyway.
I slept until after 9am!!! I never do that and it was glorious. After the past 3-4 nights with insomnia, I need this. FWP - my neck is now sore from some of the positions I was in last night.

I'm obsessing about the holiday season. I did a trial run of thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. I have had to use all of my inner strength to NOT buy the Halloween candy that is on display at Wegmans already. And Christmas. Oh so many Christmas relayed things. I need to be focusing my obsessive thoughts on the move that's happening in 19 days. But I'm too busy trying to figure out how I want to carve my pumpkin and what I want the buddies to wear Christmas morning.
We are laying low this morning - the kids are watching Lion King because they have never seen it and I'm taking H to the musical in a few weeks. We are going to grill in a bit and then head to the beach for a late afternoon/ evening/dinner on the beach trip.
Tomorrow is Elliot's first day of preschool - full day! I'm scared of how it will affect his nap. No way will this kid nap on a mat ! DH heads off on a work trip tomorrow morning but arranged his flight back so he lands at 1 AM on Thursday morning so he can help take Henry to his first day of school that day.

I am rocking Nolan for a nap. Then I have 45 minutes to shower, do my makeup, pack our lunches, wake Nolan up, change both kids, and get to the park to meet my family for a picnic.
I didn't set an alarm because the kids are usually up by 8 at the latest. Of course today of all days they decided to sleep an hour later!

Make sure you guys bring rain coats or ponchos, there's a chance of rain almost all week.
We are actually going on Wednesday, maybe we will run into each other!
