It's rainy here so I think a lot of people's plans are getting busted. Plus it's supposed to be pretty humid the next two days which is NOT cool. I want fall!
I woke up Saturday AM with Bells Palsy. I don't have a droopy face just sorta frozen on my left side. In retrospect it was coming for a few days with my eye watering (from not being able to blink enough) and my tongue feeling numb on that side. I can't complain since apparently some women get this at like 30 weeks and a lot worse. Still, I have meetings! And coworkers! And need to not look crazy in public! Ugh silly long gestation time...

ringstrue, fx that the Bells Palsy gets better soon!
We're eating breakfast before we head to the grocery store. I'm making a S'more pudding cake and Alton Brown's onion dip for our family cookout.
I feel bad for poor DH. I was doing my normal am dry heaving and then ended up actually throwing up on the floor. All I could do was cry and apologize while he cleaned it up.
I had a midwife appointment this morning and baby is 2/5's engaged. Which is great, especially being a STM. At least I know all my cramping this past weekend actually meant something.
My other random, I have a first world problem. I have been stocking up on groceries, plus extras so that we don't have to run to the shop when baby is here... I have run out of deep freeze, fridge and cupboard space. Oops.

About to board my flight home from Vegas, we had a great time, I was in bed by 9 almost every night, but still had fun, got a lot of walking in which is good and atell lots of delicious food (and I met Giada Di Laurentiis, we ate at her restaurant and she was there and came by our table, so nice!)
Now that I know the baby is a boy I want to buy ALL THE THINGS! I'm 14 weeks, is it too soon to start the nursery and stuff? I'm a planner by nature but still a little nervous.
Brie what color paint did you end up picking? We are prepping the nursery for paint today. I need to figure out how to disassemble the closet unit so I can paint inside the closet...it's rough looking.
Went for a walk/run this morning with DH. Was feeling pretty lame and having a pity party about the loss of my fitness. But I got over it and felt pretty good by the end. I can still pass the old men out for their morning stroll and the beginning runners so I'll take it. Random: one of the Canadian geese that gather on the path was hissing at everybody that passed by. And there was a guy jogging while wearing a bacon tshirt which made me lol. I need to get one of the "will run for wine" shirts at some point.
My due date is tomorrow and I'm pretty sure nothing is going to be happening soon. Trying not to be too impatient! I couldn't sleep starting at 4 last night so I got up and made a ton of progress on a sewing project. So happy today is a holiday so I could take a nap from 8-10.
I ordered our sheets from PBK today and am heading to Joann in a bit to search out curtain fabric. We did a bunch of shopping for DD this weekend so she should hopefully be set on clothes until the spring. Trying to get all our big purchases in before ML + 3 in daycare!

I'm being induced tonight!!! Ahh...can't believe it's finally here. So spending the day making sure everything is ready then going out to eat and off to the hospital at 7 tonight. Next time I sleep at home I'll have a baby!

How fun you got yo meet Giada!!!!
We had the room done by 22 weeks. I have planning problems & have felt we needed to do everything ASAP lol
I am baking brownies today to give to my RE office tomorrow during my very last appointment there. I can't believe I'll be back at my regular gyn's office in a week. And that I won't be the non-pregnant one surrounded by pregnants anymore. It's so weird! This still feels very surreal.

We got our shower invites stuffed and mostly addressed this weekend. MIL and I worked on them together last night and I looooove them. We had gotten a curious George shower design made for us off etsy and they are ao cute! I can't believe they are going to be mailed this week!
MIL and I made a diaper motorcycle for fun for the shower. I saw it on Pinterest with a CG stuffed animal rising it and since DH is a Harley rider, it fits.
I'm also going crazy trying to find a warm, gender neutral, cute outfit for bunny to wear home from the hospital. I know I have time so I'm hoping when fall hits, more options pop up.
Oh gerberdaisy how exciting! I go in Wed night to be induced & it feels 100 years away lol
What?!? That doesn't seem right? I know I feel a million weeks pregnant, but weren't we just posting in the PGAL thread about being glad to make it out the first trimester? How can the end be so near?
Mine is more of a vent. My back was feeling better on Friday and Saturday and I way over did it. I am back to barely being able to move and have spent all day in bed. I was off work all last week, but was hopeful that I could go back tomorrow. Now I am not sure and it is really depressing me. Plus, I don't want to use all my sick leave before my maternity leave!
Last night I was making chicken stir-fry, when all of a sudden I felt like I was going to throw up and couldn't even stand to look at the half-cooked chicken. I had to get DH to finish cooking so I could go lay down. Some parts of third tri are just like being in first tri again!
I finished getting everything washed and put away on Saturday, so now I'm feeling almost ready for this baby to get here!

It's surreal!!!! I don't feel like this is real at all. Maybe Wed night/Thur morning when I'm in horrific pain it will feel real lol

We went with Glidden Silvery Moonlight. It's a very pale gray.

We also painted our nursery today! We're going to be moving the furniture in later on, we moved it all out to paint - Soooo excited to have it painted
Made some more progress on the crib too, but not as much as I wanted this weekend. I'm being optimistic and hoping to have it done before Friday
I'm also finally getting more of a noticeable bump, so I'm super excited about that...I'm still bummed that I have to go for my 3hr. Glucose test on Wednesday, but I will take our iPad and hopefully find things to entertain myself with :-P
