I also really like Benefit They're Real mascara. Sephora and Macy's carry travel size ($10)? if you want to try it without committing to the full bottle.
I LOVE Tarte Lights Camera Lashes. I've tried Lancome Definicils, Dior Show and still go back to Lights, Camera, Lashes. I might go pick up a mini tube of Benefit They're Real just to see if it's as good as everybody says. I'm almost out of my Makeup Forever tube that I got back in May from Sephora for my birthday.
Lancôme Definicils is my holy grail mascara. I keep coming back to it.
I use this too and really like it. I think adding a mascara primer has made the most difference with how my mascara looks though. I use the Tarta mascara primer.

ditto this. a friend of mine told me about the e.l.f. primer, instead of using it as a lid primer, i put some on my fingers and swab it onto my lashes after curling, but before mascara. it makes a huge difference, AND it's only $1 at target.

I never even knew there was such a thing as mascara primer!
I also use Theyre Real and like it very much. But the new buzz is about Yonique. My sis bought it and LOVES it. When i saw her wearing it her lashes were the first thing I noticed. My cousin is selling it so I am about to buy it.
Not wild about "they're Real" for oomph or length. It's a good natural looking mascara, but really no better than CG "Clump Crusher". For length, I like a tube mascara like Too Faced "BTS" or even L'Oreal "Double Extend" which has a separate primer. NYX "Dollseye" makes some great lash lengthening mascaras, too.
If you suffer with really stumpy lashes, Latisse is awesome for some. I have a niece who is in the diplomatic service in Africa who prefers it to mascara in the heat.
I like The Balm Body Builder. I have short, blond-ish lashes and I don't have to use 10 coats to make it looks like I have lashes with the body builder
