I loved this movie although I forgot about the little girl's love for Thor, which is kind of funny, all things considered.
This cracks me up, only because I couldn't remember if I'd seen it. And once the girl enters the movie with the Thor helmet, I was all, "YES! I have seen this! Except I don't remember what happens beyond hijinks ensuing."

Also, I will just say that Eilsabeth Shue's outfit holds up remarkably well. Put her jeans in a dark wash and de-poof her hair a bit, and she looks trendy today.
The version we watched over and over again was recorded on the VCR off of ABC or some network channel. As a result, we had the swearing bleeped out. The best part when they dubbed over "fuck" in the gang fight on the subway, so it became, "Don't fool with the Lords of Hell." And Elizabeth Shue was all, "Don't fool with the babysitter!" She told them!
Claudia Wells was Jennifer in Part I. I only know because we watched Part I & II this weekend and I looked it up. She quit acting to help her mother after a cancer diagnosis.
This was my fave movie when I was 4 (what were my parents thinking?). I was obsessed with the opening where she's in that black & white dress and sings along with the Crystals' "And then he kissed me.". That song is totally on my iPod now at 30.
