I'm no fan of Angelina or Brad Pitt, really, but for forever and a day, they've said that the kids want them to get married. Clearly, they decided in large part to do this for their kids (Oscar campaigning probably doesn't hurt either), so they let the kids have fun with it. I find the way they are about each other and their kids endearing, and even though I'm not a fan, I think at the end of the day, their love for each other and for those kids is 100% genuine. I think it's pretty clear that their kids and their relationship is their #1 priority, so good for them.
I'd probably think the dress was weird if someone who isn't Angelina did it, but at the same time, if it was someone who was only getting married because their kids wanted them to and the kids had a role in planning the wedding, I'd likely retract my side eye. I think the dress itself before you see the back fits her beautifully and is a lovely dress, despite being very simple. Adding the sentiment to it, I think it's great.
OMG - seriously, those pictures are just adorable. The kids seem SOOOO happy and ... well, they just seem like a truly happy family that had the wedding they and they alone wanted to have.
I love that she had the kids so involved in this. Can you imagine the bridezillas of the world if an ink pen, marker, etc. got within 50 fifty of their precious gown?
Angelina could wear a trash bag and look gorgeous.
I showed this to my 7 year old artist/fashionista and she flipped out. She thinks it's the coolest idea ever. So I can only imagine how awesome AJ's child army felt. They took an otherwise ordinary dress and made it something unforgettable for their family. I love it. And I love her saying fuck it, and letting them do that.
I just got teary eyed looking at those Hello pictures. the love in that family, man. You can't stage that stuff.
This looks like a really loving, fun event. Exactly what a wedding should be.
I also love that they didn't try to pull the too cool for school. Like she went as traditional as possible for her dress. And the long veil etc. I bet her kids just loved every single minute of it.
I love it! It is so, anti-Hollywood, and seems to keep with their tradition of being family oriented and keeping a low profile, well as low as two celebs can get. I don't get the outrage. It was a wedding for their family and children; the dresses symbolizes this. Shrugs.
Yes, their wedding was so anti Hollywood that they sold the photos to People! Way to stick it to them, Brangelina!!!
I'm sure they donated the money to charity as they have done many times in the past. What horrible people.
