I was never a fan. I tried them in the early sizes and then once more later on. I am perfectly fine with paying for pampers through amazon mom. I have never liked any other brand as much, except huggies overnights.
I could never save on diapers. Pampers were my favorite and I would just get annoyed with cheap, leaky diapers so I stopped trying them. Huggies are OK but there is something in the gel that irritated my girls' tender bums. LOL Also, they would sometimes burst and make a mess with all the gel beads/fluff from inside the diaper. Pampers 4 lyfe.
I used nothing but the Target brand with dd. I'm pretty sure they are different then they uses to be. When I tried them with ds, I hated them. I use Pampers Cruisers now and am more than happy to pay for them.
Yes!!!!! And they are sticking to poor Rhys' testicles! It's so horrible! We only have a few left and we have to slather his butt and everything in diaper cream so they don't stick.
Also we bought the new up&up overnights in size 4 for Delaney and they suck too!! We had no issues with the normal size 3 for D but I don't like these.
I guess it's back to brand names for a bit- pampers swaddlers for R and Huggies overnights for D
I've used target diaper for my dd since size 1. She is up to size 4 now and recently I've noticed a difference in the diaper. They seem very stiff and thin. She has been wearing 4's for awhile and they felt different when she first started until now. I suspect target has changed something.
Four hours late, but also wanted to say that I agree. We always did pampers when my kids were super little and then switched over to Target brand (because they ARE way less expensive) around size 2 or 3.
Can I also add that I am SO looking forward to potty training with DD? She is 2.5 and doesn't seem too interested. I don't want to push her, but I am done with spending $50+/month on diapers!
They only time I've used Target diapers is during Christmas when they have their Christmas pattern diapers. That's right - I decorate my kids butt for Christmas!
I've used Luvs with both kids with no problems. They were great even overnight with DD but DS we've needed Huggies overnights. I tried Target brand with DS and couldn't wait to be done with the pack. Lots of kids in my preschool room had them and they seemed to work well so I was surprised they sucked for DS. They would have all been using 4s or 5s interesting the bigger sizes might be better than tiny ones!
I use Pampers when they are little but I used mostly Target diapers for both of them without much of an issue. I don't know if they are different now though.
No problems here! Although I have noticed over the past 2 years, they have changed.
We just don't use them for DD1 overnight cause they definitely leak then. Also the 2nd time around I used them much earlier (started size 3 for DD1) and have not had one leak. maybe I'm just getting lucky?
I used Target brand for a while, but I didn't like how stiff they felt. Try Luvs! They are cheaper than pampers, but so much better than Target brand IMO.
Yeah, she leaked all over her bed last night. ugh. I have to stop by the store for some Huggies this afternoon.
I tried Luvs once with Joanna and didn't like them, but I was a FTM then. Ha. Maybe now I am like the breezy, practical STMs they have in their commercials.
what about trying overnight diapers?
even a good daytime diaper will leak at night after awhile.
I just switched to LUVS, I've only ever used Pampers. I really like them and they're sooo much cheaper. $24 for 186, Pampers were $45 for 180. I've heard that LUVS work better for boys, and Huggies for girls, don't know if that's true though.
Target is the only brand that worked for both of my kids. Huggies leaked and Pampers were ok, but so much more expensive for the same outcome. Though neither of my kids actually fit in NW diapers, they both started off with size 1.

With amazon mom I got 186 size 2s for 34 dollars and 33 dollars for 168 size 3s. It really isn't that much more money if you know where to get the best price. The size 2s box lasts me more than a month, so I haven't started on the 3s that I just got last week from my monthly subscription.

After the newborn stage we switched to Luv's and they were perfect.
Although as she got older we had to start using the Huggie's overnights for nighttime.
Huggies overnights are the only way to go. Trust me on this. I swear by pampers except for overnights.
Maybe I'll try some of these, then. I could use something for Joanna too. Normally I just go up a size, but she's in size 5, and the 6s are TOO big and leak around the legs. I hope they have them at Publix.
It looks like they do. I think publix had a bunch of huggies coupons in their baby flyer this month.
