I think I was on week 12 with DD. With DS it was fast...like less than 2 but then I had weird period/hormone issues that are just sorting themselves out 6.5 months later.

With DD1 I still had it at 7 weeks PP, and my doctor chastised me for not coming in and seeing her earlier because the reason I was still bleeding was because I had an infection.
I was a c/s mom though so they cleaned me out pretty good. And even with that, I don't think my results are typical of c/s moms. Most I've heard have gone longer.
ETA: I've had PP periods that were worse than my postpartum bleeding. Helllooooo Mirena. Ain't nobody got time for that.

With DD2 I bled for 5 or 6 weeks.
Did you have any reason to think it was an infection? I told my doctor at my checkup last week that I was still bleeding and that it was still red sometimes but she didn't seem concerned.
No, I didn't. I think bleeding that long can be totally normal. My doctor (who I left after that pregnancy) was kind of a jerk, and she made me feel dumb for not knowing that I had an infection when there was nothing really to indicate that fact!

I think 6 weeks because it stopped, but then a week later I might have gotten my period. Then a couple of weeks after that I started bleeding period like again, so I have no idea what the deal is.

Twelve weeks. At my 6-week appointment, the doctor said to call if it was still happening at 10 weeks, and 10 weeks, she said that since it was more like heavy spotting than consistent bleeding to give it a few more weeks. It sucked.
