M is content in her crib. I'm thinking either we will give her a big girl bed for Christmas and let her pick comforter and things... Orrrrr we will wait til next summer, when she's just over 3. Is that too long?
I think we will have to get around to this around January or February when E goes into a crib. He knows how to climb out but also know it is " bad" since when he is caught he runs and hides laughing. Lol stinker.

We are *thinking* about trying the bed for night only and keeping the crib for naps. And going back to the crib if the bed isn't working. However I know it's unique that I have both a crib and a toddler bed in her room right now. I bought a rail for the bed....we'll see.
I plan on switching her in February/March next year. I want to do it when it is still darker out longer but also not too early because I like the crib.
We may move in summer 2015 (we'll know later this year). If so, we'll switch when she moves. If not, I guess we'll switch sometime after a new baby arrives? We'd use a co-sleep for at least the first four months so there wouldn't be a rush...
I waited until after 3 with Jack. I would love to wait that long again with Leo.
The biggest thing at 3 they understand the concept of if you get out of the bed you are punished. Right now Leo isn't quite there, which would make keeping him in bed harder.
We did L right at 3 just because she was just getting too big for it. We switched to toddler bed and that only lasted a short while because she didn't sleep comfortable so we got her a full size bed.
She would probably still be sleeping in a crib at 4.5 of she didn't get too big for it.
I'm not sure! She can climb out I think but doesn't. Lately whenever I put her in there at night though she says "i'm too big for my crib" lol. I have no clue where she got that idea? Maybe the Daniel Tiger episode where they give his old crib to the baby? We do want her into a regular bed so we can use the crib for the baby so i'm thinking maybe pretty soon. Ugh I think she is going to be climbing in and out of a big girl bed though so I have no idea how it's going to work. Going to bed is really tough as it is lately.

I hope to keep in her there past weaning so she doesn't have the motivation to nurse driving her out of bed. So past 3. Fingers crossed. H was almost 3.5 when she switched.
I have absolutely no plans at the moment... She's totally fine in her crib and I like that even when she doesn't nap she stays in there. We have a pnp for Rhys so we don't need it right away

M LOVES her crib but shes outgrowing it and keeps bumping into the rails and waking herself up. We were team CRIB4LYFE but begrudgingly will move her to a big girl bed 9/14. OMG THATS SO CLOSE!
We have the mattress. We have the bedding. DH just has to anchor the furniture and we will be good to go. AHH! Tell me its going to be OK!
playing it by ear since D will get the crib at some point. We'll move him to a pnp in October and if he does well there he'll stay in there for a while and maybe we'll switch in the Spring. There's already a queen bed in Anna's room that we'll just switch her into at that point. Then the boys will share a room for hopefully many years (we do have a 3rd kid bedroom, but I'd like to keep it as a guest/craft room for as long as I can).
Sometime before April because we will need his crib for baby number two. I'm thinking I might ease into the idea of a bed by doing the toddler bed for a while then switch to a regular twin before the baby comes. The plan is to have him fully transitioned before the baby comes. But then again, maybe that's too much change and we should just do the regular bed full force? I'm not sure yet.
