We have no plans but C is moving out of his toddler bed next month, we will see what happens. He is getting bunk beds and if R goes from crib to bunk beds I will be so sad. I need that transition...
We were on the crib for life team but like TrudyCampbell we had the crib and big girl bed in her room. Just last week she decided on her own that she wanted to sleep in the big bed, and we haven't looked back.
I didn't want to tell her that we needed the crib for M because I thought she would get upset, but DH has been discussed it with her one day (unbeknownst to me) and I guess it worked.
Last week she slept in the big bed, got up in the morning and peed on the potty, put her socks on herself, then looked at me and said "I a big girl now, mommy."
I'm thinking around oct or nov. We will need the crib in February for the baby and I want the transition to happen way before baby since he'll have a lot to adjust to then.

I just had to move Julian last month because we need the crib and I wanted him to be used to it before she came. He's going great and actually loves his bed. (It's a pirate ship)

J loves his crib. I really think he will flip his shit when we change it. His furniture isn't anchored yet, so I am perfectly content keeping him in there forever.
We will move her in November since we'll need the crib for 2.0 in January. I want to make sure there is space between her stopping using the crib and baby using it. We already have the bed downstairs and she sees the mattress and talks about her big girl bed and her new big girl room. She seems really excited. I've purchased some Frozen bedding as a surprise and I think she'll lose her mind.
