I've played around with my recipe and this is what I came up with as a good recipe with measurements
This makes 8 pieces
1 cup of Grandma Nugget's Mac 'n Cheese (M&C) 2 oz cream cheese, softened 3 tablespoons cooked, diced crisp bacon 1/2 C. milk 1/2 C. Panko bread crumbs 1/8 teaspoon granulated garlic canola oil, or your favorite oil, for frying 1 teaspoon diced jalapeños
(I'll have to put the pictures in a separate post)
Cut the macaroni and cheese into 8 square pieces. I had used a metal measuring cup and "sliced" out a 1 cup measure of the M&C and cut it into wedges, but a square shaped piece of M&C works better. Set aside.
Mix the Panko bread crumbs and garlic powder, set aside. You may be tempted to add salt, but don't. There is enough salt in the M&C and bacon.
Mix together the cream cheese, jalapeños, and bacon. Spoon a bit of it on top of one of the M&C squares and press it down, but try to leave it only on the top of the square. Do not put the cream cheese all over the square because it will melt and it will fall apart.
Dip the square in milk and then gently roll the square in the Panko bread crumbs.
Add enough oil to a pan so that there is a depth of about 1/4 inch.
Add the M&C squares to the oil and fry on all sides, leaving the cream cheese/bacon side for last. Watch that side carefully so that it doesn't melt and fall off.
Drain on a paper towel.
Wait a few minutes until it cools or you will burn the fuck out of your mouth.
Also, I was examining the cross sections of M&C to see if I could stuff the cream cheese and bacon inside somehow, because I'm too lazy to be careful during frying, and was delighted to notice this:

I jammed jalapeño pieces into those crevices the last time I. made this. YUM.

That's what I was thinking! But I would probably have to pipe the cream cheese in each macaroni hole and then that kind of defeats the point of a shortcut. lol.
why don't you make the mac and cheese with the jalenpenos in it already? I make it that way often- we love jalepenos and take any chance to shove them in as much food as possible
