During any given month, how many of the times you have sex are you doing it primarily for the purpose of TTC?
What signs, tests, etc. inform your timing?
I'm on Clomid and use OPKs. I don't temp. Doc recommended TI EOD cd10-20, but with work, life, and late O (Cd 23/4 last month), we aren't ever going to keep it up like that for so long.
I temp, use opks, and monitor CM. Once my cm starts to become watery we try to DTD every 3 days, and the day of the positive opk. We are more a 1-2x per week couple, and DH has performance anxiety, so ED or EOD never worked great for us.

I go by OPKs and CM, and we're a 1-2x a week type of couple. During FW we trying to have sex a few times, plus whenever I get a positive OPK. We're both on meds that kill the sex drive, so more than that probably won't happen.

Ugh. TTC totally threw us off our game. We used to be at least a 1-2per week couple but after a while of TTC it's been mostly during the FW and maybe one other time. Yeah it has sucked. I hope it will improve now, but pregnancy isn't really known for being a positive with that!
We use mostly OPKS for timing, I was temping at first but found that OPKS alone were enough because they always lined up with my temps. My CM has never been a good indicator, I would occasionally see EWCM but not enough to rely on it.
Before TTC we were lucky if it was 1/week. More often than not it was closer to 1/month. Obviously we do it a lot more now. The fact that I'm very irregular/anovulatory doesn't help with timing though.
This month I was on 100 mg Clomid so a greater chance of ovulating. We planned to EOD from CD10 to O but failed already at CD14. And I didn't get a positive opk until CD21 so it was a long period to keep up EOD. I think next month we might not start until CD18 or so.

This is more like what I'm facing. I'm on cd19 now, with no o yet, so EOD would be too much from Cd 10-O.

You've been on Clomid since about the same time as me, right? Is this your 2nd or 3rd time? Did you O the other times?
I'm hoping that I will be somewhat more predictable on Clomid now when we found a dose that made me O.

This is my third time. Always 50 mg. I definitely Oed cycle 2, as confirmed with blood work. I likely Oed cycle i, as indicated by opk. I don't get ultrasound monitoring through OBGYN. You?
This is my 2nd cycle. 50 mg cycle #1 but never O'd (no positive opk and no temp rise still by cd 46 so took Provera)
100 mg cycle #2, finally positive opks on cd 21 and 22, lots of ewcm and a temp rise (not sure exactly when I I'd though, FF says either cd21 or 23 depending on just one temp that I'm unsure of), ultrasound by RE on cd 24 also looked like I had O'd
I don't get any monitoring at all though. If I don't get a BFP this cycle I will continue on 100 mg for next cycle as well. Will go back to RE for a HSS and to get the results from the SA and bloodwork on Sep 22 (so somewhere cd 6-10).
Since I will stay on the same dose I hope it will mean I will O around the same time (cd20+) next cycle as well. Then we might be able to time BDing better if it's a shorter window.
I always O between CD12-CD14. So we BD EOD from CD10+ until confirmed temp rise....well, we usually don't go as long as I hope. But we're pretty close. I have historically done the odd days. This cycle, we'll have sex on the even days to see if that helps any.
Before TTC, we were usually about once/week. Now it's about that, with 3-4 times during the "fertile period", according to FF and OPKs. Being off BCP helps with my drive a bit. With the BFN last month (our first legit cycle of trying), DH was all "Oh darn! We have to play more!"
