We took the family to Wolf's Head Lodge this weekend. It's a new indoor water park in Fitchburg. Bit hit. We met up up with Dave's sister and some of her friends there. Kids loved it the first day, but were a little bored by the second day. Although they had bunk beds in the hotel room and thought that was the bomb. Turned out there was this thing called Magiquest there too. It's like a treasure/scavenger hunt. That's what we spend most of day 2 doing and actually the kids' favorite part. Overall the weekend was a blast. How about you guys?

Wow you both had awesome sounding weekends!
Saturday I did my 12 mile run. Then went home and sat by the pool for which looks the last time this summer. Saturday night we went out for a friend's birthday. Sunday I managed to go grocery shopping and watched the Pats game. And then we went to my dad's house for dinner. It was nice and relaxing which Ii feel like I needed.
I worked Friday through Sunday. My shifts went well, but were exhausting. I saw Woody Allen's new movie with a friend on Friday night and had dinner with J on Saturday and Sunday.
Sit and knit Friday morning, followed by a yummy lunch at Bar Louis and a nice drive up to Ogunquit. Checked in, got my bearings, and had a drink at the bar. Had an amazing steak dinner and a very expensive glass of wine, followed by a couple of cocktails at the bar. There was a rehearsal dinner that night, I felt very old talking to the young couples there, LOL.
Saturday I had a massage in the morning, and spent a good part of the rest of the day in Ogunquit. Had a really nice lunch and just walked around. Came back to the hotel and chatted with other guests as I swam in the infinity pool and hung out in the hot tub overlooking the Atlantic. Then i came down to watch the wedding that managed to happen before any major weather hit. Had dinner at the bar and chatted with more people.
Sunday I went to church in downtown Ogunquit, then grabbed some breakfast and headed down to look at the beach. After checkout I hit a yarn store (yay!) and did some shopping in the Kittery outlets. I had a late lunch in Portsmouth (OMG the Portsmouth Brewery is YUM!) then came home to my waiting family. DH had cleaned the entire kitchen and had a rocking good time with S.
Today our new babysitter showed up right on time with activities for S planned for each day. Score!

Tim was here this weekend. I ran in the morning and we went wine tasting at one of our favorite wineries on Saturday and checked out an Oktoberfest event that afternoon. Tim left early on Sunday so Iris and I went shopping and to a BBQ in the afternoon.

Our neighbors invited us to the baptism of their twins which was in the Bay. So we went. Then the minister said what church he was a pastor at. Now I am doing this and ^o) to my neighbors because their denomination is one that is kind of conservative and doesn't allow for the ordination of women (not catholic, though). For some reason its really rubbing me the wrong way because the denomination split off from the denomination I grew up in and my mom is a pastor. So it just seems like it invalidates her. I don't know. It is really bothering me and I am trying not to let it because they are really nice and friendly.

Hey that is my neck of the woods! Haven't made it there yet.
Pretty good weekend here. Got to see my brother's x-country meet on Saturday. We ended up going out to eat because the storm knocked out our power while we were grocery shopping (lightning hit a tree). We got power back around 9.
Sunday my girlfriends came over for brunch and then I spent the rest of the afternoon doing homework while DH was out watching the pats game at my parents. Overall, very relaxing.

I don't know how you guys do it, caligirl22! Fingers crossed that your house sells soon!
It sucks. Big time. Iris took multiple steps tonight and I don't know if I should tell him or let him just see this coming weekend. Thank you for the crossed fingers, we can use them!
