I don't think my school ever did one of those. I do remember the book order forms and circling pretty much every book to show my mom which ones I wanted. (Quite sure I didn't actually get all of them.)
I LIVED for those. And the book orders. Not that we didn't have a book store where I could just go buy the books I wanted vs. waiting weeks for them...

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIRS WERE THE BEST!
I would totally live for them, and look through the catalog and partner with friends to ensure we didn't buy the same thing so we could trade. Damn, those were the days.
When I took my son to his first book fair last year, I saw the same look cross his face as did mine all those years ago. It was a mixture of barely contained joy and giddiness.

We're always happy to have more posters in the Book Club. It doesn't keep up with MM, which is saying a lot these days!
