I suppose I didn't do an intro and don't want to be rude.
Hi! I used to post on TK before the mass exodus in 2012. I'm almost 33, DH is almost 32. We're both engineers, although I'm bonkers and decided to go get my PhD in engineering. We live in TN, but I am originally from Ohio.
We just "pulled the goalie" over the summer. This is only our second cycle of trying to time BD with the O due to work travel over the summer. Just happy to have a place to talk about TTC so that I don't drive my H or my friends crazy.
So, hi! I look forward to chatting with y'all and to celebrating lots of BFPs!
Welcome! Fellow engineer here currently studying for the PE in October. When do you complete your PhD?
Yikes! Good luck on the PE! What discipline? We took structures back in 2010 and some how passed the first time. I left crying thinking I'd failed. Such a tough test! I think I have two more years until I graduate. Done with most classes, just research!

Thanks! I'm taking civil/transportation so it shouldn't be too bad. My friend just failed the civil/structural and she's going to take transportation instead next time. I can't wait to have my evenings and weekends back!
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

Oh man! I took structures before it was two days. Luckily the other civil tests have much higher passing rates. Keep on trucking with studying! We kept saying to ourselves that we didn't want to have to do it again.
