Cigarette or cigar smoke. I hate smelling cigarettes ON people. Like their breath, their hair, and their clothes. But I love the sweet smell of clove cigarettes and pipe tobacco.
I LOVE Gain! But also can't stand the "Fresh Cotton" etc. I cringe that I seem to end up getting body lotion/shower gel every year for a Christmas gift from someone. Thank you but I don't want to smell like a dryer sheet.
I can't stand the smell of Pert shampoo. XDH always liked it but it hurts my nasal passages (seriously!!!) I also can't stand anything Gardenia, Rose, Honeydew and all the cake/buttercream scents although buttercream is my most favorite food in the whole wide world!
I can not stand floral scented dishsoap. Any of the citrus or plain ones are fine.
Gain does nothing for me either.
And "clean linen" or "fresh cotton" or "laundry" scented candles. They don't smell like laundry. They smell like Grandma's old perfume.
All of the above.
Gain smells awful. Unfortunately, it is the laundry detergent that someone bought before my dad died so since it was in the laundry room it is the brand that everyone continues to buy for my mom. She used Wisk or All my entire life up til then, so I don't understand why it is even in her house. I think it has killed her sense of smell too.
We all wash rewash towels and bedding in a no scent detergent before we use them because we hate the smell and can't sleep (or breathe) it is so strong.
Williams Sonoma has cleaner, dish soap and hand soap at the holidays that are balsam or something, and they kind of smell like barf. Not a good smell anywhere, but especially not a good kitchen smell.

I completely agree with this!
I also LOVE the smell of coffee & coffee beans and my favorite candle is Coffee scented but I detest the taste.
It isn't a product, but the smell of a freshly peeled orange makes me sick to my stomach. I've had this reaction since I was a child, and I don't get it.

I hate smells, seriously, anything that lingers too long grosses me out. Especially floral scents, bleach, air fresheners of any kind, heavily perfumed people... we once accidentally bought detergent with a scent and I was annoyed by it for like 6 months. I buy unscented lotions and smell any soap I buy before committing.

Canteloupe does this for me. I love the stuff but I gag cutting it up. They all smell moldy to me or something.
I reallllly hate the smell of those cinnamon brooms that they bring out this time of year at the stores. It makes me want to vomit. I have to run by them, it's that awful.
