What smell do you love?
I love orange & grapefruit. I prefer the products with real citrus oil, but even the fake stuff smells good.
Wasn't it draakar or some other cologne that was very popular in the mid-90's? My boyfriend sophomore year of HS wore and I lurved it. We didn't have a sexual relationship, but lots of making out was initiated by the lustful smell of that stuff.
Anyway, I spent all of junior year in Germany with host father who wore it too. It was beyond weird. I'd catch myself thinking, 'Oh delicious draakar make-out...' And then, 'Eek! 45 year old not attractive host father alert!'
Oddly enough, I still associate that smell with lust. DHs deodorant has a hint of it!

Ooo I LURVE Draakar too. That and CKone.......guurrrllll!
I love clean scents of lemon and things that remind me of different times in my life. I like lime and verbena stuff in the summer reminds me of sun tan lotion and living in Florida. Different florals remind me of my childhood.

I love the smell of soap and laundry detergent and (some) softeners. I also really like apple cinnamon scented candles and plugins.
i actually have fresh cut roses from my backyard on a table right behind my couch. I'm slightly annoyed their natural fragrance is overpowering my apple cinnamon Glade plug-in.
I love the smell of bleach, Tide, and Downy. Basically, I want to live in my laundry room. Pinesol too.
Bleach one of the bad ones for me. Instead of it smelling clean, it reminds me of nasty places. Probably because the grossest bathrooms, apartment hallways and bars smell like bleach to me. Maybe they clean w it? I clearly have hang ups!

Salt water in the air after a big storm . The smell of warm dirt rising after rain. Fresh herbs from the garden. The smell of the forrest. The decomposing wood ,mushrooms and a hint of cedar. Like to take rosemary from the garden, citrus peels and pinch of cinnamon. I simmer that on the stove in the fall.
I love lemon. It makes everything clean and fresh. Biolage Shampoo. D*G light blue perfume. It's one H doesn't b*tch about the smell of too. My roller ball is gone and I have to wait for Christmas for more.
Ahava Fig scent is great too.
I like the smell out of outside in a blizzard too.

I cannot believe anyone in this thread said they like Drakkar (sp). My FIL, a man in his 60's, wears it and everytime the kids hang out with him, they smell terrible. We refer to it as 'being Grampied' (they call him Grampy).
I love the smell of things and the memories a smell can bring back to you. I love any of the earthy Yankee candles that are usually in grays, blues, etc. There is just something clean about them. I love the smell of cellars, Tide, my H's deodorant (not Drakkar!), B&BW White Citrus, etc....I am drawing a blank. I love that walking into my son's preschool takes me back to being a kid, bc they smell the same. I recently bought a Cabbage Patch Kid at a consignment sale bc the smell took me back (the boys have the doll) to being a kid. Rain is awesome and definitely one of those times to just close your eyes and take it in. I also love the mix dsh soap with water and use it to clean. It's just very fresh and clean smelling.
I love citrus such as lemon and grapefruit. Also really love mint and true lavender. And the smell after it rains when it hasn't rained in awhile; its fresh and wonderful

But that's what I meant. Objectively, I do not think it smells great, but subjectively it smells like lusty making out to me.
And now I just sort of admitted apparently your FIL makes me want to make out.

Coconut is my favorite. I love the Hawaiian Trooic sun tan lotion smell. Vanilla, lavender, there's a D & G men's cologne that smells wonderful. Fresh oranges.
Real vanilla, pine trees, cinnamon, lavender, fresh cut grass (ironic since we bought a house with astroturf), lilies of the valley, lemons, limes, irises, and the woods after it rains in the spring.
I love my method hardwood cleaner in almond. It smells so good.
I love the smell of that cleaner! And so does one of my cats. She rolls around on the floor when I use it. My favorite candles are vanilla and cinnamon. I have a pumpkin pie candle burning right now that I'm enjoying the smell of as well. I also love the smell of real pine products.
