I'm researching appliance available in South Africa and came across something called a spin dryer. Has anyone heard of, seen, or used one? It's kind of brilliant, IMO. It gets more water out than the spin cycle, the water can be collected/used in gray-water-acceptable zones, and the drying time is reduced (on line or standard tumble). I watched a few YouTube videos on them, and they seem to be the real deal, but I'm curious if anyone here thinks they're terrible/ridiculous/whatever.
What else? I had a million things on my mind until I started typing this post.

I'm on a girls' weekend trip right now in Virginia. OMG, it's hot as balls at like ... 10:30. I'm indoors, in A/C, and sweating like a pig. Humidity, man. It's a real thing.
Spin extractors are, in fact, the real deal. We use one in the gym for swimsuits and it's amazing how almost-completely-dry they are when they come out. Lots of laundromats have them too, and you can fit an entire load of laundry in them, then only need a quarter to get that whole load dry in a regular dryer. Amazing things.

I really am holding a grudge against my psychiatrist because she was supposed to have a plan for me to ween off my meds but I got nothing. I went cold turkey and I feel like dying now. I would otherwise feel fine, I'm sure.
I have to look presentable this weekend at a wedding reception and I'm hoping it'll be late enough in the day that I won't actually look like death.
The weather dropped like 30 degrees in 2 days and we apparently are going to yo-yo between summer and winter for all of fall.

I've started networking. I gave my biz card to a shop owner who's husband is an architect. It's so out of my comfort zone, but if I want local work I have to do it. Eeek!

I got talked into going down to D.C. with the kid to see my sister's new condo. I'm excited to see it, but I was also looking forward to a relatively mellow weekend on my own (plus kid), with DH out of town. My parents will be at my sister's place and they are very...exhausting.
Who wants to translate this for me? I've been reading it one way and had an a-ha moment 5 minutes ago that it means something else. I may be losing my mind a little (although the result will be a good thing).

I was waiting for a meeting to start for TEN minutes past the start time today when my boss finally got online and told me she was pushing it back to... sometime later. I was like, "great, do I have time to get lunch?" Because it was 1:10 here and I was hungry.
I think my husband agreed to have us drive up to Brooklyn tomorrow to see a friend. Slightly exhausting for a day trip, but okay. It's actually only a 2 hour drive.
mrs.jacinthe Where in VA? Not bad here, but supposed to rain tomorrow.
megstoo I went to Michaels at lunch for some fall decor and they already had christmas stuff out.
I'm hoping the weather holds off so we can paint E's learning tower. DH is also building her a step stool, but I think I'm going to paint it the same pink as the stripes in her room.

Bedrooms with 3 single beds and shared bathroom
If take that as each bedroom has 3 single beds and the bedrooms all share a bathroom. What's the context tho?

It's in the programming list as one of the required room types. The rooms are listed in bullet point fashion, and this particular room type is listed differently than the rest. I'm glad you read it that way, because that was how I just read it and feel much better about it.

mrs.jacinthe is in VA and didn't tell ANY of us? At least I don't feel left out! What's up with that, mrs.j? I've been on the road and could have easily fed you and given you wine.

Sorry about that, VA ladies. Its a girl's weekend with a couple of close friends, and we've been hanging out since I arrived, so there wasn't really any gtg time available. We're in Williamsburg until Monday, then back home. Unless somebody wants to gtg in an airport, I'm just booked solid.
I go to San Antonio every year. Is that close enough? If so, I maybe up for a gtg if that's not too creepy. I don't post enough here so you are probably wondering "wtf r u?" LOL!

Well I'm only 20ish minutes from Williamsburg, but whatever.
