My college football team won yesterday so I am in a great mood Today I need to drive home from my parents' house and do my homework for an online course I'm taking. I'll probably watch some football too. OH - and I'm lighting my fall candles when I get home since the weather is cool, which will be the real highlight of my day, lol.
I always have good intentions of getting up early on a Sunday morning to enjoy coffee before P wakes up. Every.single.time he wakes up before me. This morning I went creeping out of my room and was going to shut his door. He wasn't in bed and I freaked out. Then I hear a little voice coming from the dark bathroom "mommy, I'm in here POOPING!' It freaked me out! Uh, yah so much for early morning coffee free of kiddo interruption. ::sigh::
I'm getting really excited about the possibilities with this side business through Isagenix. I have a good friend who's super into health/fitness/nutrition and she's a stay at home mom but money is REALLY tight and she's been applying for jobs like crazy. I texted her about it yesterday and I think it would be something great for her to look into as well.
I'm going to DC in one week-so excited!!!!! If any of you ladies are close by we should try to meet up

Got up extremely early and it was beautiful out. Why does Fall have to tease me? I am taking it easy today. I'm going to do laundry and clean out my closet.
This is my second day off this week where I've planned to go to the beach but it's raining. Booooo!!
I'm about to get dressed and great myself to brunch instead.
There are a couple of people at work who were some of my earliest hires, so they've been around since before the shop opened. We've been open more than three months now and they still don't get it. If I ask you to do something (or not to do something) or show you a specific way of doing things, THERE IS A REASON FOR THIS. They both want leadership positions, but they refuse to drink the company Kool-aid and see that I'm not just an uptight micromanager and that they just need to do better. These two people are taking soooo much of my energy at the moment and I'm just so over it. If I could drop them both from my schedule right now I would.
Work tomorrow should be a blasty blast. (this is sarcasm)

A I love you but if you blow up my FB feed with that crap I will have to judge you (and then hide you from my feed). Those Isagenix people bug the crap out of me. Keep your KoolAid to yourself!

The Bills game just started and both DDs are actually watching it with me. When the guy was singing the national anthem, DD2 said we HAVE to put our hand on our heart.

The weather today is perfection. I've got my windows open and my BBW Wallflower scent in Leaves happening in my room. The sunshine is pouring into my clean bedroom (good job me, lol!) and everything just feels good at this moment. I'm drinking it in! After I quit playing around on here, I am going to look for jobs, get a few errands done, and make white chicken chili for dinner. Today is so good!

Have an EXTRA good day and enjoy a latte at Barista Parlor for me.

I also got this scarf in Navy Combo for $5 yesterday at Charlotte Russe. I love it so much. I plan to wear it with the red dress I bought yesterday. Now I need the perfect brown boots...

I just ate brunch at Jackson's or else I would. Damn I want that biscuit with ham and peach preserves...yuuuummmmmm.
Had a great time with the bestie last night. We went to dinner, then to this great rooftop bar and watched the sunset. They closed early, so we headed to another bar and had a couple drinks and chatted. It was so nice. Love spending quality time with my favorite girl. We're just relaxing this morning before heading home

We ordered pizza for breakfast, and besides cleaning the kitchen and doing some laundry I'm going to game and Netflix and enjoy a lazy day. I'm still kinda sick so I don't have the motivation to do much. Whomp whomp.
Oh, and I turned my heat on this morning. It was 62* in the house and DD2 is sick. So, the heat is on. In summer. :/
Nooooooo! I would LOVE if it was 62 at my place. Sorry your baby is sick. :/
If it were just me here today, I'd deal with it. I try not to turn the heat on until October, but 62 is just too chilly for a sick kiddo. I gave her some meds and that seems to be working though.

I came home from my amazing afternoon yesterday to find my kitchen covered in ants, so I cleaned the hell out of everything. Woke up at 6:30 to find my floors covered in ants, so I cleaned the hell out of the floor. Feel back to sleep and woke up at 10:30 to find my floors covered in ants again. I fucking hate ants!!!! But I do have the cleanest floors in town!!
I ran out and got some bait traps and am now sitting on the couch watching football.
I also signed up for two online dating sites. Hope something works.
Went to Marshall's and picked up brown boots, new 800TC sheets, and some kitchen stuff. Just made 2 zucchini pies, one for dinner, one to freeze. Maybe I'll throw something in the crockpot as well so I can cook less this week. I just gave a squirrel some bread in my backyard...j will kick my ass because he's not a fan of squirrels, but who cares! Lol it was so cute!!

That squirrel looks well fed! I think he's using the cute act on some neighbors too.
I taught this morning and pretty much lazed around after that. Made some Italian wedding soup and watched the Pats. Lit a new candle that I bought yesterday at Bath & Body Works, it's called Sweater Weather and may be my favorite fall candle ever!!
Had lunch with my parents and my aunt then ran errands (grocery and Target). On the second load of laundry with football on. Loving the fact that I don't have to go to work tomorrow or the rest of the week. Heading to the zoo tomorrow and the high is only 70 degrees so the weather should be perfect.

I love b&bw candles. I usually order online when they have 2 for $22. Never tried sweater weather. I have sweet cinnamon pumpkin and the wall scent thingy too. Love their home scent stuff!

I went to Target after seeing a blue plush blanket on clearance. I hemmed and hawed about if I really *needed* it yesterday, and ultimately passed on it. Today I was sitting on my bed thinking about how good that damn blue blanket would look at the end, so I went back and luckily there were 3 left! I also was able to use a Cartwheel discount on it, so it was $12! I then went to Lowe's and picked out some paint colors that match my curtains. I am having my sister in Indiana paint an old nightstand for me (she has barn access, I have no barn or garage). I just need to pick one now! I might have to make a thread so you all can help me.

I went antiquing today and bought a little wooden turquoise bench that looks like it belongs with a side table that I already own. As in, they match each other perfectly (except for the color). Oh, and it was $12. Score!
