I just had a can of tomato chipotle basil soup. It's supposed to be for recipes but it was good. Today I wondered why people don't make pumpkin/apple pies in combination. So today I'm sort of making them. I got caramel apple pie filling, pumpkin filling, little graham cracker tart thingies and crumb topping. Can't go wrong, right?

I'm not eating right now, but in about 30 minutes I'll be eating @cse1960's sausage-cheese-egg casserole. I made one at my mom's house earlier for her today for her to have for supper (I told her I had never made it and she was the guinea pig) and I'm making one for my son and me for supper now that I'm home. I'm using sage breakfast sausage, and added just a little italian seasonings; I used the full package of sausage but only half the egg/milk mixture (I used half-and-half) and then loaded the top with an italian 3-cheese mixture (I'm thinking it's cheddar, asiago and ?mild provolone? maybe. I also made cheesy buttermilk biscuits. And to really make it breakfast for dinner, we're having cantaloupe and honeydew melon. I won't lie, I'm sitting here drooling a little bit. I just got back from a church potluck. I made my smoked gouda mac and cheese which is what everyone alway request I make for these things. It is pretty delicious.
