We have a subscription, but we hardly ever read it. Decreased the frequency to a Th, Fri, Sat, and Sun package. Still never read it. I'm thinking I might be done once this subscription expires.

Until just a few months ago, we had daily paper delivery for probably ten years or longer. I was trying to shave monthly expenses and decided the crossword puzzle and obituaries were not enough reason to keep up the expense.
We get the WSJ, of all things, because H needed it for school and he didn't want just the online subscription. When I was growing up we got the Daily News Monday through Saturday and the Inquirer on Sunday. I loved reading the paper.
Inlaws got us a subscription to the bigger paper in the area for the last couple years as a Christmas gift (mainly for the ads) but they cancelled it a couple months ago after the delivery person kept throwing it at their hanging plants and at the cars at both our houses. We have an online subscription to a different paper now but it's only 99 cents a month right now.

We have a Sunday-only subscription, for the coupons. But there are fewer and fewer coupons these days, and I've read half the articles online the day before, so I'm really not sure why I still get it.

Special Snowflake.
We live within our city limits and as such get a weekly *our city* paper on Thursdays for free. It's pretty fun to read the police blotter.
Growing up my parents got the paper every day. The stopped for a while after I moved away and now get it again. I loved reading the paper with my parents over breakfast every morning from 14-22 years old (except while away at college).

We stopped the local paper. Horrible editing and they kept putting false stuff about H and his job. We get the larger area paper on Sundays for the coupons and if he is in it.

Nope. I read it online. I do get a free weekly thing from our town but I've never looked at it and it goes right in the recycling bin. I wish they would let us opt out since we don't read it so it's a waste of paper.

No, I read online. We get something like 10 free articles a month from our local newspaper online, and then I read other stories through TV news station websites, which are all free all the time. I also prefer watching the local news at night.

We used to until very recently. We always subscribed as a kid, and I loved reading the paper. I just don't make the time anymore, except maybe on Sundays. Otherwise, I just read online. After I run out of "free" articles on the newspaper's website (which I think is dumb, but whatever) I just switch over to reading the local news stations' pages. I can also get most articles free from the newspaper's app.
