I looked at the Too Faced Cocoa Powder foundation. Â I feel like I may be too pale for the lightest shade? What shade do you use? Â Any opinions?
Here's a picture of me, although I don't know if you can really tell how pale I am in it, lol. Â I am always the lightest shade of any face product I use.

Another signature look. Tealish blue on my eyes with pinkish/reddish lips and cheeks. In the summer I choose more pink or coral colors and in the fall/winter I choose more reddish colors. Cheeks are Benetint, Lips are Revlon Lip Butter in Red Velvet. Eyeshadow is a mix of Essence and Ulta shadows. Eyeliner is UD LSD. Mascara is UD Perversion sample size (full size is a fucking disaster).
I love my Ole set. The face wash smells so good. The eye cream takes some getting used to. I plan to use the scrub today and I will report on that once I use it. Love the serum! So far, no break outs either.

Yeah it sucks that they don't have a greater variety of shades. I used the light/medium during the summer, but I'm bumping it down to golden light for the winter because the other was starting to look a bit dark on me. The light looked too pale when I tested it at Sephora. I don't know if Sephora can give you a sample of something like that (a pressed powder) or not?It might be worth it to ask though, and maybe one of their MUA's would be able to tell if light would be right for you. If not, I've heard that MUFE has a powder called Mat Velvet or something like that made for oily skin, and I'll bet it comes in a greater variety of shades.

Thanks! I'll at least go to Ulta this week (no Sephora here )and look at the colors in person.
Okay ole lovers. I bought the super sale set but haven't received it yet. I am wanting to purchase some new skin care during the sephora sale. I have normal to dry skin, a few fine lines around my eyes, and some redness.
What things from ole should I buy the full size of? I will take them back if I end up not liking the starter kit.
I don't want to splurge on the face wash as I have a cheaper version that I really like. Thanks!
My Sephora cart is OUT OF CONTROL! I need to reduce it by about 3/4 but I want it all!
Yeah, I couldn't control it either. I ended up just ordering all the things but I have a lot that, now that I'm seeing them in person, will be going back.
Also, your avatar actress is in that new showtime show, the affair. I haven't seen it yet, have you?

No, we don't get Showtime. I really want to see it though because I absolutely love her on Luther.

You can check, but I don't believe Ulta carries it for whatever reason. I know up until the last month it was a Sephora exclusive but now HSN is carrying it. I just checked Ulta's website and didn't see it listed there.
If it's any consolation, when I swatched the light and golden light at Sephora, the light was SUPER light. And Sephora will take anything back if it doesn't work out, so you could order it from their website. I would suggest the same HSN deal I got with the powder and kabuki for $39 but I don't think HSN has the same great return policy in regards to cosmetic items that Sephora has.

However, Ulta DOES carry NYX and their Blotting Powder is really awesome too. It doesn't provide the coverage that the Too Faced Powder does... it's more of a finishing powder than something you can wear as a finishing powder or on its own like the Too Faced is, but it does help keep your face from feeling like the Valdese. It's what I use to touch up with through the day.

I'm so happy with my makeup today. It's that free bare minerals blush from the ulta haul (hollar!) that's called "laughter" and it's a peachy pink and then the bare minerals 5-in-1 in that pinky color (which reads peach) with some of the lighter browns from Chocolate bar and the angelic nude lipstick from Tarte that is peachy. My face is like fall colors? Fuck no.
No selfies because:
(A) my phone hates me And (B) It would never translate and I would look like tired poop despite my best efforts.
