Aww yuck. You can do this! My H and I did a major declutter and clean to get the house ready for showing and packed a lot of the non-essentials at the same time. That helped tremendously when it came to moving because we already had things packed. I pared my kitchen down to bare essentials, purged toys, and packed up personal things like photos and frames (because our realtor said depersonalizing the house would help it sell more quickly). Please let me know if I can do anything to help while you're in PA. I don't think I'm too far from where you'll be - I'm in northern Delaware. Big hugs!

Ugh, I'm sorry. It won't be easy and it's going to suck at times but like everyone else said you are so strong and you can do it! You have some great plans already.
I know a deep clean will make you feel better, but I guarantee your house is more show ready at the moment than 100% of the houses we've looked at (and they all sold quickly for far over asking - yes, different market, but buyers weren't turned off).
Any probes close by that can help??? Sorry to hear its going to be rough for you - most showings are at night so if you're able to tidy up the house in the morning and get out early afternoon you might make it
Oh dear freaking lord. That is insanity. Actually, bat shit crazy. Britney Spears shaving her head and going loco crazy. I cannot imagine the stress you feel just thinking about this, never mind actually doing it all, but if anyone can- it's you. You will rock this out. You WILL survive. And you WILL be receiving wine in the mail from me, because if anyone deserves all the damn wine- it's you!
That sucks. Truly. But if anyone can handle such a trying time, it's you. You're incredible! Though I can't be there to help (wish I could), I'll be thinking of you and sending lots of good thoughts.

Do these people ever get the timing right? I'm sure this is extra hard to hear coming right off your recent trip. Hugs. You guys will get through it but what are *we* going to do about you not having great acesss to the Internet again? :-)
Matt has to go to school in Georgia for three weeks. They finally gave us dates. October 24th to November 14th. He'll miss Carter's first birthday (the 25th), which sucks, but it's more stressful that in about 4 weeks after that, movers come to pack us and we head up to Pennsylvania until we leave for Hawaii. So three weeks alone here with two kids and two dogs at crunch time for showing and selling the house and packing things up.
And then I will have like 2 to 3 weeks with the kids alone in PA with no car while Matt comes back and clears post.
Dear God, tell me I will make it.
I'm just seeing this. What is it about our men, their employers, and making things as difficult as humanly possible??? I have no advice, just loads of empathy and good vibes coming your way. You totally have this, and will make it work, but man, I really wish you didn't have to deal with it at all!
