I'll probably get one. I used to get one every year because my job offered them for free and it was on site. I don't think I got one last year because I couldn't be bothered to go in.

Yes. I don't get why people are so iffy on this one. I know it doesn't protect from every strain of flu, but some protection is better than none! I FINALLY convinced MH that getting the flu shot DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE FLU. He got the flu three years in a row (when he refused to get the shot) until last year when I FINALLY convinced him to get a damn flu shot.

Yes, DH and I both get them. They're free through our insurance, and DH's company's wellness plan gives bonus points for getting it, which translates into money in our HSA account.
ETA: Not that money is the reason we get them. I'm not a medial guinea pug for hire, lol. We get them for the same reason everyone else does.

Nope.
DH will be getting his, as will my extended family I come in contact with. Id love to get it, I'm not, with my doc's blessing at the moment. I keep having very strange reactions to viral infections. There are still tests outstanding to figure out why. He doesn't want to start any of my re vax just yet due to the reactions. The rituximab I had last month = I wouldn't produce a protective response anyway. Mask, soap, and avoidance land for me.
Yes, as a Lyme patient, it's especially important for me to get one. The only vaccine that's really screwed me over is the TDaP because it has multiple viruses in the one mixture. The one year I did not get the flu shot I did in fact test positive for flu, followed by bronchitis, followed by pneumonia, so yeah, that was fun...

Yep, I get one every year. I make H get one too (he never did growing up, so he didn't know it was normal to do so). Being around kids all the time, I do think it helps keep me healthy.
Also, the hell kind of response is this? Thank god I don't just follow the herd:
As long as you like getting injected with formaldehyde etc. with some sort of the strain where someone in the lab went eenie meenie minie mo as to what the virus is going to do then go for it! JMHO I know that there are going to be people here who think that they are good but… just do your research and then make a decision.
Personally, I really enjoy a good formaldehyde injection.
This is actually part of my plan to live forever, and maintain perfect skin.
Definitely; I'd rather not wear a mask at work until April. One of my coworkers has a legit allergy and can't get one, and her patients always think she's sick and are scared to have her as their nurse.

And yes of course we're all getting one.
The response carrots posted from God knows where is one of ignorance, and putting their trust in Dr. Google, instead of an *actual* doctor, with *actual* training, who can interpret and apply *actual* research.
I trying not to drink the Lyme juice. I just assumed "duh carrots" get the dam flu shot. You have for years. Why not now? That Lyme board is a little scary sometimes. Lots of "omg no vaccines!!!! Evil!!!!" Going on
Yep, they totally are. You have to remember, some people have other issues aside from Lyme. Also, some people like to be sick.
I will speak to Flu shot in regards to Lyme:
Does this sound like what you have read?
1) don't do it because neurotoxins and it is difficult for your body to detox 2) your immune system is jacked up already, flu shot will hurt it as well
With that being said, DH has gone both ways with the shot. I do not think it has made a big difference. He hasn't ever gotten the flu either way. Although, odd thing when he was really sick with Lyme- he never got sick with anything else, no colds even.
My two cents.
ETA- his decision whether to get one or not wasn't Lyme based, it was whether he could get it scheduled at work without conflict
