E, has what appear to be tiny little pimples in her butt crack. I noticed one a few days ago, several last night, and there is no change today. When I Googled, it sounded like it could be yeast, but then the pics for that look nothing like what I see on her.
Should I be concerned? Anyone else had this? She’s happy, doesn’t have a fever, hasnt’ eaten anything new as of late (as she eats only BM and my diet is bizarrely consistent).

My son has some too. We actually saw his md today and he told us that it may be a fungal infection but it could also be a type of diaper rash. We were told to use triple paste for a few days and if it wasn't resolved they would give him an anti fungal. Has your daughter been on an antibiotic recently, that the reason why my son my have a yeast infection. And with regards to the triple paste we were told to apply a lot of it ( like frosting a cake) and to only wipe the areas that need it at diaper changes ( don't wipe it all off) then add more when needed. Then give a bath once a day to get it completely off then start again after he has aired out for a little while.
Thanks for the response. I will pick up some Triple Paste.
And thank you, too, natablue! I’ll try the cornstarch in the morning, because I have it on hand.
Eta: a few sites, including webmd, say cornstarch allows bacteria to grow. Im going to try aquaphor instead of another day of the zinc oxide stuff and call the pedi.

That hasn't been my experience at all. I haven't tried Aquaphor but none of the zinc oxide stuff I've used worked at all. (Butt Paste, Desitin, Dr. Smith's, Burt's Bees). Let me know if you find something that works!
I think DS had something like this twice - once after his 2 month shots, and once when he had HFM. The bumps went away on their own eventually (hopefully yours isn't anything related to HFM)
My dd had them with HFM, too. I hope that's not it!
Not to be alarmist, but make sure you watch them and they go away. If they don't, they probably need to be looked at. Sometimes staph will look like little pimples also.
Yikes! Thank you for this. Can they test for staph? I think I’ll take her in. It doesn’t look any worse, but it didn’t get better today, either.
HFM has been going around at daycare, but she has absolutely no other symptoms.
