I think the big gifts are going to be a power wheels tractor and a power wheels excavator
I just bought a dry erase board, chalk board and cork board for their playroom
I want to get K athletic sneakers and a bunch of balls (soccer, football, etc)
we will get a few big trucks
that is all I can think of so far
I want personalized toy boxes for their rooms
There's a power wheels excavator? OMG. That would be perfect if we had space for it. C is obsessed with excavators. Luckily, there's always construction around us, so one is always parked somewhere between daycare and home. We have to stop and examine every. freaking. one.

Luckily my kid insists those are "farm taxis." I hear, "I want a digger! Where's the digger? DIGGER!!!!"
We saw a police car pull someone over yesterday and throw the driver on the ground, and he started shrieking "happy police car!" I was giggling to myself thinking about how police lights will not mean happy to him in about 15 years.
I have been obsessing about gifts too. I have NO IDEAS for E this year. It makes me sad that I can't think of anything to get him. It also causes major anxiety!
Hmmm... what is he into? Train table? Work bench/play type thing? I saw some toy power tools in Costco that were really cute.
Right now all he wants to do is play outside with sticks! He also loves matchbox cars.
My aunt gave him a generic workbench for his birthday and he has hardly played with it. I think I'm going to sell it to free up some space.
H wants to get him a guitar or piano, but I don't know about that either.

One of the best.... And I mean best toys we ever got Adam was the bruder brand crane. It is so strong, sturdy and fun. For years they have both loved on it, and the boom arm goes so high and they have a blast attaching stuff to the hook. We found a good deal on amazon, as bruder is not cheap usually.

So far, we have the Sleeping Beauty movie on the list and D will get a Elsa dress in her size. The thought of the house filling up with more junk is making me twitchy.

I have no idea what we're going to get the boys. We'll be in CO with my family for Christmas and I know my parents are going to get them both a bunch of stuff. We'll probably just do something small.
I'm with thedahliharpa, thinking about adding more toys/kid stuff to our house gives me a panic attack.
The only things I've come up with are a train table and new wall decals for T's bedroom. I have NO IDEA what to get the baby. I feel like we have everything already.
as of now he seems so content with the toys he has. I would like to get better at the 4 gift thing (something you want, need, wear, read) but up to now i bought too much. I do want to get him a book sling shelf so that's all I have so far. I will buy some new Christmas books for the advent books- i had some board books I wanted to switch out this year with older kid books.

It's so hard when you have a younger same sex baby. There is NOTHING to get Ruby. I'm doing the sleeping bag (which she won't care about for a long time), the PBK chair, and a personalized stool... and then I might wrap up some of Violet's old toys for her!
I'm doubt I get anything for Declan this year except maybe some clothes. I already got some playdoh stuff and some interchangeable lalaloopsy dolls. Also giving J&A piggy banks so they can start learning about money and saving. I am definitely going to be going through their toys in the next month or so and doing a mass cull. Probably going to get rid of all the baby toys. I'm sure Declan will survive. He barely needs any toys so far because he just watches the 2 crazies all the time.
I am pretty positive we're getting a train set for Max. Probably an Anywhere chair for Gus - M's is denim with red, so I was going to do red with navy stitching. Like everyone else, I have so many ideas for M, but am struggling with the baby. Poor second child
I also have a closet full of things I've picked up on sales. I don't even know what's in there anymore, I just buy and stash. I need to check that before I buy anything else. Omg, I am so becoming my mother...

I do this too and I'm pretty sure I'm going to wait until the week of Christmas to realize how much crap I've been hoarding.
While I have you all here, lol, what PBK anywhere chair should I order for Ruby? Violet has gray mini dot with light pink lettering. I was thinking of doing the opposite for R- light pink mini dot with gray lettering, OR get the same exact one (gray dot with pink letters) but then Ruby's will look different because Violet's is so faded, but eventually they'll both be faded, OR I like this vine one with gray letters...
And this is the one we have....
Is this something children fight over if they aren't the same?
I prefer the vine pattern one. The minidot pink is too bubblegummy.

That's a good idea. I'll wait and it will be an early holiday surprise!! More gifts that are seemingly free!!

TrudyCampbell, I would not get Ruby pink if V has grey. There were tears last night that one got a pink flossy stick and other got green, lol. Pink is a daily issue.

This is my exact fear. Especially because gray is a blah color.
