I'm a lurker, but if you need to talk to someone about your mom I'm in the same boat as you. My mom was diagnosed a month ago. She has stage 2, and had the surgery to remove the cancer. The surgery went well and she is getting ready to start chemo.

I'm so so sorry. Even though it's wonderful they caught your moms cancer early, I'm sure it's no less scary.
A friend from the gym told me about the funeral today, her husband worked with him. She said it was so awful, and apparently there was unnecessary family drama on top of it
bubblywater, I am so sorry for your loss and the difficulty it has caused. I am sure anger is one of the many emotions my friend is feeling – I know I would be.
tatorsdaisybuchannanCrazyLucky, I think the fact that it's all public knowledge and newsworthy must make it even harder.
roo54, I hope your mom responds well to the chemo and is on her way to being cancer-free for good. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers as well!
