I forgot to take a pictue again today. At my appt yesterday, I'm up 16 pounds at 24 weeks. It's starting to make me a little nervous, but the doctor hasn't said anything yet.
I need to track what I eat I think. I'm coming off whole30 and all I want is carbs right now and I don't want to over do it. I'm overweight to begin with. If you do MFP, how do you know how many calories you should have in a day, especially pregnant?
No bump pic. Only 7 weeks (8 tomorrow!).
Gurrrrrl....you are gonna want to eat carbs when (if) morning sickness hits. Trust lol that's been the only thing I've been able to keep down.
Listen to her. I've been beating this into her brain for weeks now when she tells me how sick she is. I always feel so bad, lol!
25 wks here - and to add to the weight convo, I'm up 12 lbs. My goal is 20-25. I was overweight to begin with so I will be happy if I can meet this goal. Prior to getting pg I had lost 40lbs so I keep telling myself I know how to get it off when the time comes.
Last weekend at 19w on the porch of my sorority house. Crazy to think that the first time I was there was 12 years ago as a college freshman, then 4 years ago at my wedding, and now I'm back with my two baby boys.

We have a dietician here at work that I asked about what I should be eating since I had been following a weight loss program here prior to getting pregnant, she sent me a couple sample meal plans for 1800-2000 calories.
I set MFP to maintain my weight and it said I should intake 2800 calories which seemed a bit excessive, so that's when I contacted the dietician here at work. I've been consuming around 2000 calories like she suggested and that has worked well for me
I recently was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and met with her again, and she told me I needed to be consuming more carbs than what I have been...so I've adjusted to eat slightly more now too to try to keep my blood sugar levels okay.
ETA: As AutumnRose25 mentioned - Carbs were my friend early on, including a lot of things that I don't normally eat...grilled cheese sandwiches, cereal, mac and cheese...pretty much anything starchy, ha ha! There were nights where I couldn't really stomach much besides cereal and milk for dinner
Dammit will someone share their pounds with me?? Please? I have an appt friday and I have NOT gained what the Dr wanted yet. I've been out to eat the past two nights, going to grab take out tonight and out to eat tomorrow night. Hoping that it at least gives me water weight so I don't need supplements. I am at -3 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight of 186 (5'3"). Belly is measuring dead on though!
I'm like -10 lbs. My doctor said that since I'm eating, drinking lots of water, and baby's measurements look great that I don't need to worry about it. Baby takes what he needs. He takes priority on your nutrients so you lose weight before baby ever does. Everyone's just different I guess!
ETA the same can be said for those who are gaining more than "recommended". I really do think your body does what it needs to.

The only thing I ate was carbs for all of first tri. It's the only way I could keep anything down. Embrace the carbs!

I'm only up 2 lbs at 17 weeks, I started out overweight though. My Dr suggested that I don't gain more then 15 lbs. I'm suprised that your Dr seems to be concerned with you gaining if your not losing anymore. How far along are you? I do know some women who even with eating managed to gain very little it was just how their body worked.
