I have a dress that's some sort of poly-blend (I'm guessing). It's stretchy and is kinda like that bouncy drapey fabric but not exactly.
I've washed and dried this dress at least a dozen times without a problem.
DH washed it and said when it came out of the dryer it was all twisted because a thread was wrapped around it. It was super wrinkled. Meh, I thought I would just throw it back in the dryer and use the steam function to get the wrinkles out like I've done many times before but that didn't work. The wrinkles wouldn't come out.
I re washed the dress and dried it again and the wrinkle still won't come out!
Will a dry cleaner be able to help me?
I LOVE THIS DRESS! It's so flattering on me and I feel great when I wear it.

I know that sounds like it's impossible but our clothes gets hung up as soon as it's done and I rely on that steam function or dry cleaning for everything else.

Also, I would be afraid to burn or melt it.
Not having an iron is probably one of my greatest nightmares.

Can you stretch it before you dry it? Stretching in diff directions or shaking it out hard might release the set-in wrinkles. Or that wrinkle-release spray stuff?

It will need to be pressed for sure. Most cleaners have those amazing presses that do the garment in one piece. They could use that, then tidy it up with a hand held iron. It sounds to me like heat in the dryer set the wrinkles, you need the heat to undo them.
(I have heat set polyester in 3d shapes on purpose for assignments)
