I'm thinking I'm going to take it to get detailed early next week before we do the second coarsest install. H doesn't want to spend the money, but he probably wouldn't get it as clean as I want it.

I keep my car pretty darn clean. In between actual cleanings, I keep all the mess and clutter in the very back with the cargo cover on so I don't have to see it. Whenever people ride with me, they're actually shocked by how unmessy it is. BUT, I would never say something to somebody about how messy their car is. That's just rude.
They who shall not be named would have a field day if I posted a picture of the inside of my car. Projectile central
I mean who doesn't want a collection of half full water bottles to hit them in the face? If you aren't using your car to collect your recycling then you aren't living
A mess. Normally I have a large collection of coffee mugs from the morning, the kids communication sheets from daycare thrown around, blankets and socks that have been taken off and thrown. Its embarassing, and I rarely offer to drive friends/coworkers for that reason. I can't believe she complained about it though.
It's...ok. Especially now that I've started keeping an empty plastic bag in there for trash like empty snack bags. I had empty pirates booty and peanut butter cracker bags shoved in all the little wells in the door handles. I'm more likely to take out one big bag of trash a week than continuously clean up the little bags.
My dealership washes my car for free, but not the inside, lol. The outside is very clean!
It's clean, but can get messy, if that makes sense. DD's books and toys I keep in it to keep her amused get thrown around and ahTnot, but I vacuum the interior once a week and use the car detailing wipes regularly. But I'm also a bit OCD about things being clean and tidy, so I'm not the best example here.

Its clean. I cant handle a dirty car. I have a blanket and a stuffed animal next to her car seat. There are no toys in the car. She prefers to just look out the window.
I would say it's fairly clean, really the only thing is empty fruit snack packages in the side door storage area. I don't keep toys or any extra clothes in there I just bring as needed. She picks out a doll to bring when we leave. My H's car is disgusting which is shocking because his car was always spotless.

I like a tidy car, but how you catch it depends upon if we've just traveled. Post road trip car is scary, otherwise I like all toys in a cube bin, all garbage in my garbage nook, and nothing in the seats or floors.

I just vacuumed half a beach's worth of sand out of it, so that should tell you something. I always try to keep it uncluttered but I fail miserably. Every Saturday, I bring in a bag's worth of various crap.

Ours is pretty clean, but that's because we've only had it a month. Our previous car was pretty messy looking, but the kids always had stuff to keep them occupied on trips and there were always jackets if they got cold.
Mine is a hot mess right now. Cleaning this afternoon actually since MIL is flying in tomorrow and we are going to the beach on Sunday. There's preschool papers everywhere, clothes, receipts, etc.
