YES. I'm not the person telling everyone to call the doctor for their maladies either, but this just sets off my spidey sense. I would NOT accept a brush off if I was having that symptom.
me too! I'm not normally a worrier but I saw him. He's scared it's something and his way to deal is ignore. He said he should just trust the dr at the hospital. I said the Mayo clinic (lol) someone who almost died from an aneurism and everyone else (here) is telling him differently.
crap!! I just remembered! My sil knows like every dr and nurse at a different hospital. I'm calling her now.

I'm glad your not waiting; additionally, if his regular pcp doesn't take his concerns seriously enough to order a CT scan, I'd be looking for a new pcp, too. You have to listen to your gut; you know him better than anyone else. Good luck!
Can you get an appointment with a neurologist? When my H had a stroke (TIA) doctors originally brushed it off as restless leg syndrome (?) and a pinched nerve (?). We got an app with a neurologist and H failed one of the motor tests. Rounds of tests later, bloodwork confirmed the stroke (high homocysteine).
A friend who had pulmonary embolisms told us to see a neurologist after the first doctors brushed him off. I credit her with saving H's life since now he has a diagnosis and proper treatment.
Sorry, been a busy weekend. He got his dr. to order one and everything came back good, thank god. He has a follow up next week with his dr. I'll ask about a neurologist referral too. Thanks! He doesn't get headaches at all, he thinks he's fine, I'm still pushing for further testing.
