My dad, sister and I have Jets/Broncos tickets for Columbus Day weekend. We didn't know what a headache it would be to get there. Between # of hours on trains/buses and the cost, it is almost not worth it. I have spent HOURS researching ways to get us there, and I pre-paid for the tickets. My dad suggested I sell the tickets. headdesk.
Ohhhh, honeydew1894, that sucks! It's really not too bad getting to the stadium from the city on NJ transit, but after such a long ride on Amtrak, I can see how it would be too much. Let me know if I can help with any info.

Nooooo!
I hope you can find a way to go, but that really sucks if it's too inconvenient and you have to go through the hassle of selling them.

Work vent: I've got someone dragging their feet on getting some information to me, which really should have been provided 2 weeks ago, and I just have the feeling they will be probably get it to me next week right in time for the month-end and quarter-end madness to begin. Why can't people respect others' timing with such things!? Gah!
Personal vent: I had envelopes that were stamped and ready to be taken to the mailbox on our kitchen counter yesterday, and when the H came home he started ripping one of them open without even looking at it, thinking it was "new" mail. I taped up the envelope and hope it gets delivered OK, even though it looks like the item was possibly vandalized or something. Seriously, H!? Maybe pay attention before ripping open the envelopes!

H loves his new position but his employees are so needy. They call all.the.time. H has drill next weekend and won't be able to hold their hands through every little issue. Ugh.

Grrr... remember when Lexi ran through my screen door? I took it to Ace to get rescreened. They told me 10 days.
Today is day 12 so I called to check. Nope. Not done. Going to be another week, at least. Basically, the guy says whoever took my order lied to me. They're super backed up.

Can you drive there?
Thanks. I think we will end up driving.
Yeah, once it's more than one person buying an Amtrak ticket, the price is ridiculous!! Better to drive, even with traffic. And now you can tailgate!
G went to exchange his Ray Rice jersey today. The line wrapped around the block twice! So, yay: People are not supporting this dickwad. And boo: G couldn't wait in the line that long so we're out the $100 for that jersey. Oh well.

Glad to hear the first part at least! Sorry G couldn't get a new one though.

A local pizza place was offering free pizzas for every jersey turned in. Should have done that!
