Mullet or no mullet... there's no way I'd ever cut that! I mean, what can you even do, cut ALL of it?
Ruby has some serious mullet forming.
It's so pretty and fluffy in the back but I don't think the front will magically catch up and cutting would still result in a mullet since I don't plan on bangs.

We did! Actually we powered through a Mohawk. Once the sides got long it started looking good. I think a part would help because then the front is almost bangs. Audrey still has hair in the front that doesn't reach behind her ears.

I'm really bad at trying to part it plus I think it has a lot of cowlicks. She had a widows peak as a baby.

Audrey has two giant cowlicks that create an automatic part. One is on her hairline so she will never be able to have straight bangs.
I didn't power through it. I couldn't. I cut the mullet at 7 months so that it would grown in more evenly, and trimmed it again last month when she had all these long straight pieces that hung 3 inches below her curls.
So I'm no help. I'm really just here to tell you how stinking adorable she is.
