Granite is out. I see a lot of soapstone lately. I love it
Does it gleam or do I need another descriptor?
Unrelated but look at this fuckery,
"The universe in closer than you think. In A GIFT FROM THE STARS, my Regency scifi romance, a spaceship lands near the heroine’s house. What? During the Regency? Why not? If we’re not alone, we’ve received visitors from outer space all along. In this case, the lucky heroine receives a wonderful gift from the visitor, one that brings her love, happiness and a splendid hero. May we all be so lucky."
Who the fuck wants a regency romance without a regency hero? eclaires, meshaliuknits From the fucking stars?? Did the stars send him down here in too tight breeches and a frock coat of superfine? Are we taking a turn around Rotten Row in your fashionable landau? No? Then take your little spaceship and try it the fuck again. There's a reason why Miss Outlander is the time traveler, not hot dude in the kilt. Shit and fuck.
Marble gleams and it's popular for rich people counters. I think it's totally impractical, but it is gorgeous!
Marble is soft and porous but beautiful. I like it better in a backsplash.
Agree - we actually did marble for our backsplash and quartz for our island in a marble pattern. And butcher block on the perimeter bc it's cheap and baaaaaa I am a follower.
If I could find a way to steal a kitchen, you'd be in trouble.
I will probably create a separate thread at some point, but my tenth anniversary is coming up and I need ideas for a gift for H. Any thoughts? Tenth = tin/aluminum
I gave my husband cufflinks that were made from dimes. He loves them. I bought them at uncommongoods.com
